Clingy Cap

I've dated and befriended a few Caps in my life. My first love in college was a Cap (him & my gambling Grandpa have the same bday). My ex from high school was also a Cap. I never noticed clinginess coming from any other Cap until him and I got back into contact. I honestly think that this comes from insecurities from his past relationship but I continue to tell him that I am not looking for a relationship with him. Drama from his past relationship make it very difficult to even consider wanting to be with him, but he wants me so bad. I keep telling him that friendship is all that I can afford... but what else can I do or say to get this Capricorn off of me? You guys are so determined! And great people! I don't want to ruin our friendship forever.

Personally, as a Cap, I would not say I was clingy. Context is key in any relationship or situation. If I want something or someone I will passionately pursue it until it is made explicitly clear it is not reciprocated or achievable.

I suggest you just send him a clear message that all you want is friendship and if he cannot respect that then you need to go NC and give him time to accept before trying to be friends.

Im not clingy AT all. Like Im the opposite of clingy.

Thank you everyone. I let the Cap know that although I'll always view him as a friend we would no longer be able to communicate, and he accepted gracefully.
