Dec vs Jan Caps

Just came across an on-line article that said December capricorns are more people pleasers and January capricorns were more take control kind of people. What do yall think?

I'm a Jan 1, so right in the middle basically. I see both in myself.

Wish, wish, wish I could remember what site I read that on!

Im Dec 23rd. I dont consider myself either really. I may come off as a people pleaser, but naahhh. Im not. Ill stay away from people all together before trying to please if I dont want.

Take control? Nah. Well, it depends. Ill only step up if I feel I HAVE to, or if something is riding completely on me. Also if my family is involved, like one of them is in a situation where they feel they have no voice...I kinda take up for them.

For the most part though, Im in the background fading to black...or or bronze with my Leo asc and Leo moon.

Maybe its being closer to Sag or Aqua?

Sags to me are more people oriented, so I can see that.

i dunno... this is a hard call. I'm a december Cap. i've read the opposite too and it depends on the situation as far as when I take charge... or my mood.

If I feel like I've got the juevos to control, or the brains, or if I feel like I'm right... then yea. Otherwise, in my head it's kinda like fighting a battle you might not win. There's prob someone else better for the job.

Also if it looks like no one else will, and someone needs to, then I always do. happened all the time while in school.

In emergency situations... life n death... i've proven to myself and many others that I'll step up and take control; someone unconscious and bleeding profusely and even in the face of someone masked, pointing a loaded gun at people.

People pleaser? I like everyone to be happy and comfortable. If I can be responsible for that, then it really makes me happy. But I wouldn't label myself as a people pleaser. I'm not tripping over myself or forgetting myself for other's. I'd say I'm polite and well mannered, and often enough I'm a sweetheart... especially to those who are sweethearts.

I'm January 11th and love talking to strangers just to see who'll talk back. I also love going to Six Flags by my lonesome, being surrounded by 1000's of people and not saying a word to another soul for hours.

Totally depends on what side of the bed I wake up on, I guess.

See, this is what I shoulve done this summer. I wanted to go to six flags so bad, but I was caught up trying to think of other people to come, instead of going by myself. I now see it can be done, so Im doing it lol.

December 23rd. My nephew in also Dec 23rd and my sis is Jan 6. I think we ddon't care about pleasing everyone indiscriminantly but when we forma bond, we want to keep that person happy (not out of fear of them leaving but we've already invested in that relaitonship). Outside of those bonds, we want to dominate everyone else! LOL My sister (Jan) is very much a people please. Always bending over backwards to do things for folks .... above and beyond. But she only does this with strangers then dominates the close relationships! lol. I guess we trade off.

January Caps > December Caps

Whatever lol.

I know four Dec Caps...Five Jan Caps...and about another five/six Caps in between.

From what I see, the Jan Caps seem to be more well rounded and relaxed..more together in a way. The Dec Caps seem to be more edgy and make more of a instant good/bad impression on people.

We're ALL sweeties though.

Dec caps more into fun

my grandmother is a december cap and seriousness and she is the hardest worker, very down to earth, no funny business.
I have to sometimes have to make her smile because she is the most serious person. very caring and one of the best ever.
my uncles, december and january cap, both are serious too but you dont mess with the january cap uncle. his voice and demeanour booms if you get him riled and it takes him a long time for that to happen. so laid back he is. a good man and a good provider for his family.

Jan 10th and for the longest I have felt the need to be a people pleaser ...,sometimes I don't know why (rolls eyes)

Oh, I have a twisted sense of humor! (Jan 1)

My dad is a Jan Cap and he's a darn comedian. My grandma is Jan 1st and she's funny in a serious way. I was trying to get her to say I was her favorite grandchild and she burst my bubble by calmly saying "I dont like none of yall" with a straight face. That was a fail for me lol.

I think many Dec Caps might have that ruthless Denzel Training Day alter ego within. I see why he played that part so well.

A bit random..
Speaking if Dec and Jan Cap, I had a dream about Lebron James(Dec) and Dwayne Wade(Jan) last night. I was trying to jump from something, and they both were there but Dwayne was.so helpful. He was much nicer in my dream but seem meaner, or maybe more nonchalant irl.. There is a big difference between those two aswell. Dwayne seems to be more likeable.

does it get more in-depth when you describe decans? 1st decan -saturn

Thanks lisabethur8 for sharing the information about your grandmother. I can see myself in her but a lot of the time, perhaps because I keep a poker face on and a monotone/serious voice, people don't catch onto what's intended as light hearted humor. Typical! I can't think of a single example right now.😢 Alright, maybe I'm just unfunny.

My personal experience says December Caps are more closed and aloof. January Caps are more open and personable.

ehhhh i can see this. i think we swing to greater extremes. Jan caps are hrmmm more consistent?

Even though I call New Years Eve my birthday! THAT is the party day after all and my bday happens at midnight!

My birthday is 2 days before christmas and I when I was young I made sure that everyone understood that they would not be lumping things together. Two seperate days. Two seperate sets of gifts.

Then my Dec 24th cousin was born. She's the one I blame for overshadowing my bday lol.

My Jan 1st grandma can care less it seems.

lol @ Inana. there is no winning regarding birthdays if you are a dec cap ... it seems that everyone was born around that time or there is a bunch of other celebrations happening 😛 ... my sister is a couple days after mine and we would always have a tug o war as to which day we would celerate our joint birthdays. Our parents had a hard time in december LOL

It really is a lot going on in Dec....and Jan.

I dont get to spend as much time back home anymore on my fathers side, but thats where all the Cappies are. Im 23rd, cousin 24th, christmas, cousins father 28th, grandma 1st and New Years, aunt husband 11th, dad 16(17). Its like back to back stuff going on.

Im just noticing this. My Aries aunt went from a Dec 28th Cap to a Jan 11th. Her and the Dec 28th would get into screaming matches over the phone lol.

My Sag cousin says her father(the Dec 28th) walks into a store in the mall where he shops, and argues at the same man every single time.
He's Nigerian. A Pharmacist. And a Capricorn. The arrogance of gold.

Maybe December Caps are more argumentative too?

Truecap - i have a few Jan 1st cap cousins and i notice that they are like i mentioned the Jan caps to be like. I love me Jan cousins. They are different 🙂

My bday is near Xmas, Not on the day but near it, even so i always feel that my birthday gets overshadowed in all the celebrations. Every one is celebrating and it somehow does not feel like MY special day 😛
I dont know how you feel about yours being on the biggest celebration day for the whole world. You must either LOVE it or HATE it!

I have a way to make sure everyone knows its my birthday!! I'm like, "Hey!! I get the first tequila shot! It's my birthday!!" hahaha! That side of it's pretty fun!

Really, though, people do forget, too caught up in the moment or too hungover on my actual birthday. But I have really good friends who never forget! Last year I thought they did, started to get sad and withdrawn, then, just like magic at 1:30 a.m. (after fireworks), they brought out cake!!!! I got all emotional! It was my first single New Years after my husband and I split up.

Jan cap here. I dont care about pleasing people and i am knowing this better as i am growing older. So yes more of a controller
