Anybody else think that Detroit is the worst city in the U.S? With it's crime, vacancy, drug dealing, homicides. From what I've seen on the news, the mayor is actually paying people to move into house to repopulate Detroit. The city is a goner; a relic from the 1950's. In about 10 or 15 years that city be like Pripyat, Ukraine. Completely abandoned.

Scratch that, I see NC under your Avi.

I went to Detroit last year. I didn't see any people there until I went downtown. There people actually seemed wholsome. In urban areas? No, it's like trying to find hay in the needlestack (yeah I went there)

There are huge sections of vacant city but I find it sad so many have written the city off as ruins. For all the shit it's entrenched in Detroit IS alive...something that may be hard to understand unless you're closer to it.

But like a rose, it's hard to get close to it without getting shot, stabbed, mugged, kidnapped, raped, or beaten down. So yeah....
