Do cap men always act like nothing happened?

I met this cap man in Dec and finally he said he wasn't looking for anything serious, but wants to be friends. I stopped talking to him for a month cuz I was bummed and couldn't take the rejection. Finally, I said HI to him on Gmail Chat and we were talking like nothing happened. I also found out some background info on him that kinda made me feel lucky that nothing serious happened (private family business that I don't want to get involved into - prob why he doesn't want anything). anyway I do still want to be friends with him. Does this mean there is a chance he still wants to be friends ...maybe hang out again??

Don't you just hate when they act like that? I thought my Cap had 'issues' but it seems like many Cap guys are like this. I can't stand it, I feel like he's playing games with me or something, and I feel uneasy when he acts like nothing happened- makes you wonder whether they do it to avoid big talk or they're up to something else...
