I offered this Capricorn guy a ride to the airport. Eventhough I set my alarm I ended up oversleeping. I feel so terrible eventhough he said that he understood and he knew I was tired. He ended up finding another way to the airport. What would you do to make up for this or would you do nothing? I'm thinking about buying him dinner or sending him something.
How can I pay for my mistake?
The other post are duplicates that I deleted.

For me, don't offer it unless you mean it an intend to follow through. After that incident, I'd just think you were unreliable, undependable and uninspired.
Now, granted, I'd give you the out if it's the first time something like this happened. I'd understand it was an accident and unintentional, but I'd be leery to depend on you again.
Don't over do it and try too hard to make it up. The apology was fine. Over doing it would make me think you did this kind of stuff all the time and the apologies/make up efforts would ring false.
Just let time be your friend and make dang sure something like this doesn't happen again. You're going to have to prove you're reliable and stable and consistent. Always be on time and always, always, always follow through on what you say you're going to do.
Now, quit worrying about it and start proving yourself. 🙂
