I am a cappie, and tend to have a explosive temper . Ofcourse I feel bad afterwards, and know that not always things can be mended. I had lost a few prospective friends, in the ongoing process. I do not pretend to be kind, sweet, and other blah stuff, and I hate to be crossed. Is this a capricorn trait, or any other thing, probably having to do with being a scorpio rising as well, or 'god-knows'what' mars, and satun in the 1st house ? Is anyone 'bit advanced to help ? Does anyone relate at all ?

Yep, I am a Cap too with a a tendency to explode when mad, it's only for a minute or two and take hours to cool down and I feel really guilty for days later and get very upset that I got angry. - I've been told that I am a ferocious when cross. The best thing to do is leave the room and go punch a pillow or write down all the things you want to say at that point and keep it until you are calm, then burn it. Stay away from the person who is bugging you for a few hours. They will usually know they crossed a line to make you that cross.

.....that said, I also find it extremely helpful to try to be cool and collected under all circumstances, instead of lashing out or accumulating anger inside. One needs to really listen, and appreciate the other person's point of view, while not necessarily agreeing, and to do so objectively. When things do seem to get out of hand, it would be advisable to say what you feel at the moment, without sounding angry or defeated, and let the other person know that they can't get away with aggression, and at the same time the anger-prone person will have come to terms with expressing themselves more 'productively'. It will take time, and much practice, but it sure is worth it in the long run...
