How to know if a capricorn man likes you

This guy and have laboratory classes together.

From what i have learned so far he is shy and reserved but very funny around his friends. Before i had gotten to know him he used to be every serious with me and he used to talk and joke around with everyone but me.

the whole lab went out on a friday afternoon for drinks and lunch. he had a beer and i didn't drink. but we were all sitting at a table and i notice that he is very good at joking around with everyone and conversing but when it comes to me he gets a bit awkward, his jokes won't be as funny and he goes a lil more quiet than he would usually be.

we were talking about cultures and i asked him if he knew any italians in the research group and he was like nope you are the only italian we have. we dont need any italians when we have you.

he works on the bench infront of me and lately we have been making lots of eye contact. we were talking about cultures and i asked him if he knew any persians in the research group and he was like nope you are the only persian we have. once i turned around and saw him looking and smiling at me.

Lately i have spoken to him a bit more here and there and gotten to know the people in the lab. Somedays i feel like he avoids me and his smiles arent like before (not that excited smile that goes up to his eyes).

He has started ti tease me a lot. Never in a very mean way though. But today i was just sitting in the lab minidng my own business being quiet and out of nowhere he just started roasting me. Next minute his guy friend (who i dont really know that well) walked up to my bench and he just randomly followed him too and stood next to him.

My supervisor is a guy who jokes around with me a lot and because he is my teacher i have picked up some of his phrases. Whenever i use his phrases he just looks at my supervisor and says "i get disgusted or it grosses me out when ur students (me) use your phrases".

When we talk one on one though he is always nice, and laughs and smiles.
