Me and Cappy have been dating going on 9 months. He has been slow to come around. He was married for 15 years and was hurt bad. He's awesome though and I love this man one thing I have had an issue with was his inability to put his ex in her place regarding me seeing his kids etc...he has told me he didn't want "to go to war with her" unless we were going to the next level.
Well he called me randomly yesterday to tell me that his ex had called asking him if he wanted the kids memorial weekend in which he responded that he had plans with me (this isn't his weekend with kids, and she's looking for a babysitter) he proceeds to tell her that we have been dating almost 9 months and she needed to get ready for me to be in the kids life real quick cause it was happening her response was "I still don't want y'all spending the night together with the kids" which is fine although she's a hypocrite cause she did it herself but whatever.
Made me feel good that he finally stood up to her and it was in my defense, it's the little things that can make you feel real special!!
