I assist in making it possible for under-privileged kids to get corrections to birth defects and orthopedic problems due to those birth defects (such as having leg length discrepancy repaired and extra arms, fingers, toes, etc. reomved surgically, etc.).

Entertainment and a connection with other people who think like me and to get advice/knowledge about people who don't think like me.

Are you religious ? I consider the people I love and care about my religion... so under my own definition of "religion" yes I am religious. Under the common definition of religion... I am not religious at all. I was at one point in my life. I now have a serious aversion to it for myself, but I respect it in others as long as they can respect me and my stance on it.

Do you party? Yes

Do you live by your responsibilities ? let them control you ? I control my responsibilities. I manage how much I take on. I try not to make promises I can't keep. I take the responsibilities I've committed to very seriously.

Do you consider yourself to be pretty educated ? Yea, I guess. I have my bachelors in arts. I excelled almost effortlessly in sciences and advanced math. I have a decent thirst and curiosity for knowledge. I learn and pick up things quickly. I may go on to a masters. I love and miss school.

Do you highly value knowledge or do you like taking it easy ? I value it, definitely. Ignorance is okay. I can't really handle it in myself. Stupidity is hard to tolerate. You won't find me speaking up in a topic I know nothing about, but rather listening to the conversation around me.

Are you active ? in a work week, wednesday night, what will I find you doing ? Yep. On a Wednesday, It's likely that I'm working, or working out, spending down time with my boyfriend, or hanging out with friends.

Do you get laid ? Why ask cappies this? Do you think we're celibate or something?? LOL... I have sex enough, and yet never enough.

How social are you in a week ? (how often to you kick it ) 3 or 4 nights a week, I'm out. If it's a weekday, I try to keep it low key.

How do YOU plan on making a difference ? My current career is in the medical field working with and helping doctors. I have a love for art and feel that it communicates and touches people on an otherwise hard to reach emotional level.

Last but not least. Why do you participate on this forum ? The members of this forum collectively come up with a nice variety of thoughts, ideas, questions and perspectives. And generally they're all very grounded. The interface is nice. It has a family feel. The long time members are great characters. It's a lovable forum

Haha. I thought the same thing when I read that question. I teach teenagers. I've had some salty ones over the years tell me I needed to get laid. If they only knew...

Anyway, maybe because we are "quiet". But you know what they say, it's the quiet ones you need to watch out for.

I'm certain that quote was originally made in reference to a capricorn. 😉
