I'm traditional in fashion sense, in expectations of relationships eg faithfulness, marriage, etc. I'm okay with dating other races (I don't care about race) and cultures, but there must be a fit with my own values. Generally if there was opposition from my family because of race or culture difference, I would fight for my partner and do my best to resolve the situation on both ends. However, if my family does not approve for reasons other than race or culture eg if they don't like his character or whatnot, my suitor stands no chance.
Just curious since you guys are known to be traditional do any of you tend to stick to your own race and if not does it take you a long time to decide whether you can date a person of a different race? Also if your family was mostly set on one culture would you be extremely hesitant to bring some one of a different culture around?

He was also the first i'd dated who wasn't the same creed as me. If thats the right word. His morals just werent in the right place and stuff.
