He's leaving in 6 months but we first started talking over a year ago and he was making most of the effort although he was a bit introverted and awkward with me all through out. Eventually I asked him to hang out and we did, all was well. Fast forward to when I told him that I like him over text and I didn't get a response, the next day he greets me and blushes but still no response to what I had said. I began to distance my self slowly and he let me. Eventually we stopped talking for the most part but I'd still see him watching me from a distance but never when we were close by (is that normal?).
I didn't see him at all during the summer. I thought I got over him until I saw him in september again. I began to see him everywhere and he would look over at me constantly ESPECIALLY when I was talking to guys. So I became suspicious, but knowing him I knew he wouldn't initiate anything so I began to say hi to him. He responded well. I texted him much more recently asking why we stopped talking, and he explained to me how he felt and we decided to have a "new start" and afterwards, we didn't talk at all.
At that point I thought he just didn't care and that it was time that I should move on. We didn't acknowledge each other for a few weeks (or at least I wasn't acknowledging him and he caught on).
After thanksgiving I comeback to find that he was starting to make an effort. he went out of his way to come say hi to me. Started making it obvious that he was trying to say hi but staring at me and waiting for me to look over, then said hi. He apparently came to my class. I caught him looking at me when I was walking by so I smiled at him (which I never do, I have a habit of acting cold) and he got all red and cheeky and looked down at the table.
so my question is WHAT is he doing... does he have feelings for me or not?
He's leaving in six months? What's the point in pursuing this? Let it go and move on. Whether he likes you or not, he's leaving and there's no point in starting a relationship. Continuing a friendship, yes. A relationship, no.
If he's leaving he's probably thinking like true cap and coming to the conclusion that starting anything at this point would only lead to pain. If there's attraction there's attraction though. He obviously likes you, I don't do the shy awkward thing most caps do though but when caps are faced with dilemas of the heart and mind their ground shakes a little maybe that's why he's a little awkward. Eitherway if you??re willing to take advise from an Aries moon, go for it, rock his world, intimidate him more and more with your smile untill he's a walking tomatoe around you = )
