What element do you turn to to quell insecurities?

I am just curious if you've noticed a trend in the elements of the people you turn to to quell insecurities or when you need an ego boost?

I tend to look to the Fire signs because their energy is so contagious sometimes and they can really light a fire under you and give you a good, hard, (sometimes brutal) reality check. Plus I'm surrounded by fire signs (my son, my parents, my bff and her fiance). "Get Your HEAD out of YOUR ASS!!" kind of talking to.

I also like the earth signs because they're realistic and will tell it to you straight and honest. But sometimes the realism doesn't help boost the metabolism.

The air signs are logical and rational, and although their answers are good, solid solutions, it just isn't as inspiring as the fire signs and they're not as compassionate to what you're feeling.

The water signs are good listeners and they care and are extremely compassionate, but they're a little too eager to tell you what you want to hear.

Each element has their positives and I suppose really it depends on what kind of issue you're having, but for me, when I need a pep talk, I have noticed I go to the fire signs first, then the earth signs.

Curious about everyone else.

... I go to Scorpios (mom, best friend,and best chick friend) are Scorpios (chick friend??s moon is in Scorpio). By the time something gets to me enough so that I need to talk to someone because I feel like I cant take it anymore they??re always ready, and usually they ask me what's wrong before I say anything. It's weird because sometimes just knowing that they know something is wrong is enough for me to smile, let go and say ??Nothing.?? My mars is in scorpio, yes it has nothing to do with this post, but i like throwing that out there any chance i get =D

I'm a pisces and I've noticed that I tend to go to capricorns for advice and "to quell insecurities". My boyfriend is a capricorn and he always helps sort my tough situations and he gives me very objective advice, also one of my best friends is a capricorn and she is a nice ear and a good shoulder to rely on whenever I need to talk and let it all out, but she also gives me reality checks from time to time & tells me that I might be over reacting or show me different and better approaches to problems.

Also, one of my mates from the university is a capricorn, and she is so mature & responsible that I always go to her for advice & to ask her for her opinion. I also like to work with her because we are both perfectionists and somewhat a little bit OCD.

Aquas are supposed to be the sign people go to for help.

I love the energy of Sags. They are always the best to talk to and lift your spirits imo.

For me I need my fellow earth sign Caps. Tauruses are too fixed and usually onthemselves.

Yes a cool calm discussion with a fellow earthy makes me feel fine.

I am a cap we are full of insecurities but are very good at hiding not only from ourselves but from everyone else. This is why we like it all. Turn to it all and see where that goes from. Makes life an interesting journey I's say

Oh also it redefines redefines the saying the fight within yourself,

not only are we fighting ourselves but everything and everyone else we are more often then not wanting to work or do something to ground ourselves and this then makes us positive and lets us see things more clearly.

I really do not understand why caps get a bad rep, perhaps of jealousy?

No need to be jealous a fn cap I'd rather jump to another sign and be like that just so I can can out of this restriction that has caps chained to a perception of reality which there is no such thing.

Caps who hate on other caps, go fuck yourselves you blantant fuckers and leave me the fuck alone. Its hard enough to hate myself being a cap let alone having you to hate me as well but secretly b/w you and me I do like the attention it brings and it makes me feel strange that I have someone who stalks me and is jealous of me and is a psycho/social path, makes me wonder if I am like that too or is it a cap thing? Nevermind I dont know why you keep doing this, I like that you help but the stalking and psycho/social stuff is not to my liking ok. However plz go and hate me if it helps you in any way. Oh and mind the butter on the way out. Its slippery as all shit.

This seems like it's directed at a specific person.

I'm a Cancer and Gemini and Scorpio are the ones I turn to, but they're people I trust and care about. There's also an Aries who has great judgement and clicks wonderfully with me.

I'd have to say Aries, they're all about immediate action, honest and so sure of their answer it gives me a strong point of view to contemplate. No sugar with their medicine. Taurus would be second, they take a while to think in earnest, but are just as honest and sure...with a heavy dose of their own understanding of things, causing me to contemplate their idea of a solution in a more methodical manner...depends on the problem I guess.
