What Makes a Good Girlfriend Capricorn?

Hey there!

I have only been in two relationships in my life both 8 months, so sometimes I feel like I don't know how to be a "girlfriend". (IN YOUR PERSONAL OPINION) What characteritics make up a good girlfriend?

This is funny. I did a search on my name, and this site somewhere has my name in it. Not sure where, though.

I am a Capricorn.

I'm 32, and I always fall hard for Cancers, and it never works out somehow. I will say that I have the least amount of water sign in my astrological profile.

What do I look for in a girlfriend? Just about everything. I want a woman that is cute or pretty. The exact specification is impossible, but I need a face that I can love, and the rest of the body doesn't matter much after that (keep in mind that we do want someone that represents our good taste, though).

In personality, Cancers are generally great, though I've noticed some areas that don't work. Cancer and Capricorn are both Cardinal signs, and both don't like to be told what to do. We both want to lead (don't try to kid yourself that you don't, even the shyest Cancer will try to manipulate people). Cancer women always find stuff they want changed in Capricorns, and need to learn how to approach us in a better way. If you assume you're right, and that he's just going to do what you want, you're just wrong. Capricorns are VERY confident of their own practical nature, so if you challenge it, you're asking for trouble. There are two better solutions. One is to just accept him the way he is, and move on (let your mind move to other more important things). The second is to encourage him in directions that you'd like to see him go. Don't come on too strong. Just suggest whatever it is and let it go. Let him tell you you're right, and then offer assistance if it seems like he needs it. Keep in mind that if you change him too much he won't be the man you fell in love with.

Another area where a Cancer might have to work a little is in the sensitivity department. I love the way Cancers make me feel most of the time, and that's why I get together with them. Perhaps the feeling is mutual. Thinking about it, this may be a problem on both sides of this relationship. Capricorns love attention, and Cancers do as well. Neither side can always accomodate. Capricorns are too honest to proclaim their love for everything their Cancer partner does. (Don't ask our opinion, unless you can handle the truth) Cancers are too charming and enigmatic to be tied down to giving their Capricorn their attention in social situations. As a Capricorn I've been jealous numerous times of my Cancer girlfriends giving too much attention to people other than me.

Well this is taking too long. I need to go to bed. In a nutshell, we want beauty and grace, total devotion, a charming woman to show off to friends and family, and a woman that really enjoys sex.
