My friend had hers done not too long ago. She opted for the "natural" route by using ear cartilage to slightly reshape and heighten the bridge of her nose.

She said the process of removing the cartilage from her ear was more painful than the nose surgery, itself, but nothing unbearable.

Personally, I think it makes her look older, and I can tell that it's artificial (most people wouldn't notice) but she's very satisfied with the results. I think it cost her around 2 grand? We live in the states.

Also, you want to make sure to avoid alcohol for some time post-surgery, as it can cause inflammatory, and you end up looking like Rudolph.

I really want one I just want some shaved off the bridge as I have a bump there. I don't think id get anything done to the tip of the nose although it does look bulbous to me I heard playing with that can change your look way to much and I don't know how id deal with not being able to recognise myself, I don't know how some people can completely change their face..

Ive had the worst botched surgery dreams ever ill never end up getting anything done

Last I knew, a free online forum that is really good for all plastic surgery questions is Make Me Heal. You don't have to buy any of the stuff in the store connected to the site.

Here's the rhinoplasty board:

You can get insider tips that surgeons don't tell you.

One thing that not everyone knows is that with nose jobs, swelling can occur for up to a year post-op. It won't be as bad as the first few weeks and months, but many people worry about it.

Have you thought of a "liquid" nose job for your specific problem? It can reshape your nose through the injection of filler into the tips and between the eyes which then looks like you've got a ski slope nose instead of one where your bridge is bumpy. I costs much less and can be done on your lunch hour. There's no down time because it's not surgery. Lots of good plastic surgeons are now qualified to use this procedure. Just find one and go for it.
