Anyone here tried it before?

I'm doing it for 2 weeks, felt really good in the beginning and it does have its benefits,
although I can't fully imagine that it's healthy or meant to.
I have been an on again off again vegan all my life. This time around I've decided to just eat healthy, listen to my body, and only eat what I know is good for me and feels good. Feels good is a must at this point. Im too old to just realistically be like NEVER again dairy, meat, eggs but I'm also not going to gobble up whatever.

So for now Ive stuck with preparing my own meals grocery shopping for fresh fruits two-three times and likethis morning I was craving a brownie so on the way to picking up some stuff I bought one. F-it!

yeah, they say it's more of a lifestyle that you create to be good for yourself, instead of a diet. what I love about it is that quitting certain things out makes you eat healthy things instead.

for some vague reason I've never enjoyed meat and diary, and going on and off again as well I discovered that those are the things I want to avoid anyway, vegan or not.
and I'm okay with fish though. Lol

I was vegan for two years, then my grandmother passed... and all I wanted to was to eat cake and cheese and be sad. I've been veggie ever since (meat free for seven years!) My schedule is too hectic right now to be vegan again though, with all that food prep. I have never been healthier or happier during those two years though. I also didn't do any wheat products, which i think made a big difference too (but that part sucked lol).

I tip my hat to you people. I was a very avid flesh eater but am slowly making changes. Its hard as hell! Currently im a Pescatarian and happy with it but going full out plant based is hard. Im not switching to be eco friendly, but just health friendly. Anyone here in process of switching, or remember switching? I tried one day without meat and i felt soo dizzy. What happened— Was it lack of carbs, protein, or glucose?? I don't think i can give up seafood though, but if i can curb it, that would be ideal.
yeah it's so hard to know if you're doing it the right way! when I switched I felt dizzy and tired too, and when watching some videos on it someone gave the great suggestion to 'eat whatever you want and as much you feel you need' when going vegan.
that helped A LOT because I felt like I was starving myself in the beginning. I started eating a lot of avocados and nuts like almonds and walnuts, vegetables mixed together etc.

eating fish is my only exception, it's just really healthy and good for the B12s you're missing out on. seafood is good.
but I'm completely off milk products, I've always found it kind of disgusting anyway. I sometimes eat eggs though, not that I really like em

I do 10 days long fasts each year. For some it might seem a bit extreme... vegan and raw, but you can eat only 4/5 products (wheat grains, walnuts, apples, lemons and some who aren't strictly vegan use organic honey too as it's included in the original regime). It's not a diet for losing kgs, it's a spiritual fast as people prefer to call it... I recommend it to folks who fast or look for detox regimes. When it's over, you feel incredibly light in your body. Your senses become heightened - after the regime the contact of a simple boiled potato with your tongue feels divine...

I'm not vegan, but I enjoy cooking vegan. It's delicious! I hope you'll enjoy you vegan weeks 🙂
