A drunk Gemini's comment. Did he really mean it?
I had experience with a friend who, over time, became more of a belligerent drunk. It only got worse. The verbal berating only got worse. The things he said only got worse.
Maybe he did always think you were dumb. Who knows. It doesn't matter. You don't need to be around someone like that when they're drinking. In fact, you referred to him as a former friend - keep it that way.

A former friend who is a Gemini sun Scorpio moon once got really crossfaded at this concert we both attended and then proceeded to text me vile things including repeatedly calling me a dumb b*tch.
Did he always secretly think I was dumb?
Or was he just trying to hurt me by playing on my insecurities as an African American woman?

I've had a few interactions with some prejudiced teachers (e.g they were surprised at my academic performance in their class) in addition to former coworkers that have conferred or rather acted as the seed to this insecurity despite decades of academic success, merit awards etc......
