are gems a bit obsessed?

Hi there dear gems,
I?ve been posting on and of at the scorp forum for a couple of months and the people there have been wonderful. But, after a terrible and thankgoodness short experience with a scorp man, I thought I?d better come here and mingle a bit with my equals 😉

I wanted to ask you guys a question. When you become interested in someone, do you get obsessed by them? Do you think about them all the bloody time and kind of loose perspective? I?m not sure if this has to do with the fact that I?m a gem or I?m just simply nuts. I get this way for months and then, if the person missteps and breaks my image of them, I?m gone with a frozen heart.

I bit about me: virgo rising, sun gemini cusp with cancer, moon in pisces, mercury in cancer, venus in cancer, also, I?m Brazilian (hence the strange sounding English).

Indeed, I began reading some of the posts here. It?s actually funny. Sometimes I can?t stand myself and I do not know how others can put up with my unpredictability. I guess the best thing is that we can laugh at ourselves at the end, right?

Oh yes- obsession is right- we're very emotional and give our all to the person who happens to have our heart- to the point of craziness sometimes 🙂 I'm on the gem/cancer cusp too and I have these crazy expectations of others- really have to check myself when that happens. Try this- when you feel yourself getting to that point, do more things to keep your mind occupied- read, go work out, whatever keeps your attention- not only does that help your focus, it also rids you of the energy it takes to obsess- And like m&m said, we have obsessions with the things we do as well- music, literature- anything that sparks our intellect and attention- it's our nature, something that can't be changed, but you can learn how to make it work for you!

hmm obsessed.. definitely.... emotional.. not all of us.. sensitive.. not even close.. super? naturally... hahahaha

im not super sensitive..emotional , maybe emotionally out of control lol

hmmm i haven't met any them yet.. unless getting into trouble..lol but what kind of hurt are you talkin about? We can get into BIG trouble with different vices due to our obsessive nature... like drugs.. being drunks... I read somewhere we are more prone to those kind of issues... other kinds of hurt.. not sure what ya mean.

niainthesky, I'm pretty unpredictable myself and (I know, crazy) but I'm a Virgo....I can never really sit still with a relationship becase sadly, I get bored with the person if they aren't smart, or interesting in someway....I don't INTENTIONALLY hurt people but the get hurt in the process of my boredom that just comes out after a bit....I can be sensitive, but with reguards to relationships, hell, if ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

yes, i obsess and I get possessed ....for a month or so...then i'm normal again. BUT WHEN IM INLOVE...(which only happened once btw in my 23 years stay on earth) I'm like a friggin FBI or CSI or detective or all the I's. I wanna know know all the info, and i ussually get them...all info from their ancestors to the smallest mole in their bodies...LOL

sorry i took so long wut i mean BaBy-GrL414 is that she'd intentially cause harm to herself - and i even heard this gimini used to hurt herself, like she was havin a fight wit her bf and nearly fainted and nearly fell down some stairs
