What is love?

A scorpio male once asked me this question and i told him that i thought love was a verb it is what you do

You can tell me that you love me and still hurt so i think love is more like an action instead of words what do you think

Pain = Love..That deep yearning inside, lump in your throat, tears flowing freely..thats what love is..

Yes, I love pain too! haha Um, but ya, I take the good with the bad, it's all emotions and it keeps me human. It inspires me, and teaches me, it's part of the walk of life.

I see love as a frame of mind.. i'm waiting for the one that comes along that i can't talk myself out of.. LOL this does not include love of family and what not.. that is completely different.. you don't have a choice.. hahaha

When you feel so deeep and its painful, its true...and yes as you quite rightly said..it makes you sooo much stronger..to be able to overcome it and not let it consume you..

Love is the inexplicable...I honestly never knew love (received) until I had my Children...That is pure and simple..it's the wonder that they love you whether ure slim or obese...whether ure gorgeous or plain looking! That love is UNconditional...it always amazes me when after I have disciplined my daughters that the ONLY person they want to be near is ME!

I never understood the concept of loving someone so completely and more so when they aren't that perfect or wonderful! I once heard someone say I'll fall in love with your faluts 1st...Which is awesome...love the Bad of me before you love the good...

I am skeptical tho cos i don't think it's possible to love someones flaws...but it's a nice concept...

As for what we've been shown in movies and heard in love songs...well that's not love...that's the early stages of infatuation where everything is wonderful...True love stands by it's mate when the world has turned its back on you...True love lies in the cold with the other!

I really dunno...maybe that's why i haven't found it "romantically" but everyday I see my children's smiling eyes...and Chloe says Mommy you're so beautiful...Then I realise I am so surrounded by love...Why would i ask for more?

Aww..yes topazwoman!..thats it..I remember my friend, the cap guy said something about his past and he said it in such a matter of fact way but I detected the loss he felt..and believe you me, it really struck a chord and I felt it..I started crying..so I had to go outside..now thats what I call love..feeling their pain..
