Gem Male

I met my Gem on Facebook. We exchanged numbers and talked for a couple weeks then I met him in person for the first time yesterday. Our chemistry was great, however, he is extremely fit and I'm about 30lbs overweight. I told him this in text several times. When you're pretty, guys never believe it. He stayed the night and this morning when we left my apt he gave me a big hug and kiss. I've read gems are very superficial. He's texted me a couple times, and said I was amazing. There's no reason for me to think he'll bail, but I'm worried he might. Our conversations prior to this have been nothing less than completely soul shaking. I've never met someone who's on my soul level like him. Any opinions would be great. Am I worrying for nothing?

Hence the risk of putting yourself out there. You're doing what countless other people are doing, and worrying in the same way that countless other people are.

Whatever anyone tells you at this point, it's just a temporary state of mind that it may or may not induce in you until you find out for yourself. And there's only one way to find out: wait and see what he does. You can be worried, or not, but it won't make any difference, even though it's quite natural to worry (though not always in the best interest of your peace of mind.) So you might as well relax because you only have so much control.

Do your best to tough it out for the next few days to a week, and let things develop as they will.
