Gemguy in a pissy mood...advice please...

This board has been rather quiet for a while...perhaps you can help me on this one.

My Gemmie has been going through a hard time at work with a co-worker he does not get on with. A couple of weeks ago, we had a big talk about the way this guy treats him...he does not thank him, is very non-communicative (big no-no of course). He seemed pretty upset about it...I told him I would pray for him...naturally I felt happy that Gemguy opened up and trusted me with his feelings

Anyhoo, the problem is, Gemguy is still in a crappy mood two weeks later. When I saw him today, he seemed remote, not even "here", not really even happy to see me. His emails have not been as cheery etc. etc.

I'm trying to be patient, but lady Scorp does *not* like being ignored. Plus, I went through the "pissy little boy" stage with my ex-husband and am not remotely interested in doing that again.

Am I being too harsh? Should I wait it out? Do you Gemmies really get this down..so that one crap relationship affects everyone else...?
