I am wondering -- what do Gemini's in the real world do for a living? I've read alot about career stuff lately, usually it says Gem's go into occupations that involve speaking or writing, or generally say something that challenges you on a mental level.
I have a sun on the Gemini/Cancer cusp, Gemini rising, and mars in Gemini, and I usually become extremely bored with a job after I've "figured it out." I mean, once you've got the system down...well put it this way, doing the same type of work over and over just about kills me.
Many people, I've found, do not feel the same way. I worked in one office where everyone had over 10 years experience...doing basically the same thing every single day. And they were happy, or at least okay, with that. (I lasted 15 looong months there...I found some things I could change/automate and that was interesting.)
So I guess I am wondering, what are you Gemini's doing to keep your minds challenged at work?
I like that one geminifox...I have seriously considered it. One of the reasons I stayed at my last job for so long (the actual job became monotonous after 6 months) was one of my co-workers, we talked everyday about whatever... but at length about his relationship problems. I definitely felt like a counselor, and it felt good to be asked for advice. Trying to help people live happier lives, that's a pretty rewarding and interesting job.
I am in the entertainment industry, and really anything that does not require me to stay in one place for a long period of time. I love meeting people, true, but it doesn't mean I wanna see them again tomorrow..so honestly I've never been employed, and prolly never will, I take whatever job, freelance, ebay, promotions u name it (odd jobs) and hopefully one day to have my own little business so that I can fly anytime I want. If I get employed? or even just the thought of it? makes me feel sick inside, I get the same feeling when I think of commitment. I feel imprisoned. But I am very versatile, as they say jack of all trades, master of none, hahhaahhahaha ;( that's kind of true, I can do just anything and can be good at it, and also want to try it but I'm not staying..no matter how goodpaying it is, i need to fly..so ba bye...
oh by the way guys...have u read the book Narcissus and Goldmund? Its a scholarly novel about friends/life and stuff. I can so understand narcissus' needs, he became a gypsy sort of and that's what I want to become also, he just drifted around the world his whole life, not caring about anything, being as free as a bird----I want to live that way. But it wouldn't be acceptable in this age I guess and being a woman ( I stil think 2x about writing woman, I think i'm a little girl 😉it woudn't be appropriate and stuff...sorry i've raveled again
Well, im a Software Technician. Dispite the ignorant thoughts of others about the job, I seek my career to be that of great benefit finacually as mentally . There really isn't much use to explain it,for it's quite self-explanatory.
Not really. You already know there will always be some one there to fuck w/, critize, and question you and your life position(s). And well it all comes down, your better than them in all ways that matter.
I'm a firm believer in the duality of ones personality (I'm a pisces duality is my nature)but you gemini's are Jekyl and Hydes. I was married to one of you June 10th.She had a wonderful sense of humor,a p
