hey u gems,

jus curious - when someone hurts u (in relationships) - do you guys usually move on quickly or do u sit for days and days and try to convince yourself that there is still hope??

if someone tells you they love you but don't wanna be with you, how do you handle it? my gem friend seems to be holding on - maybe she's not ready to move on cus she still has his pics all over her webpage professing how much she loves him - i think it's foolish cus he seemed to have moved on

i think GemFox might be on to something...it certainly does seem to me that Gems can have a hard time letting go mostly when it wasn't their idea. even if the relationship sucks and really needs to end that little fact seems to make things difficult for Gems. we like it to be our idea, we dont like being caught by surprise or following someone else's lead...or maybe we just dont like letting go until we're good and ready. from what i've experienced and seen, however, a Gem will greive intensly when they're dumped, in one way or another. My Gem sister tends to go the angry route and goes out of her way (far out of her way) to do mean things to her Exs that dump her. I tend toward the sappy, moping around, desperation method. in time she'll be back to normal...in a snap if someone else catches her attention. if you think she's being dumb and excessive, take the girl out dancing (to someplace she and her former beau didn't frequent) and see if you can find her...hrm...a saggitarius guy with a motorcycle! that'll draw her out of it. 8D unless he was a sag with a mototcycle, in which case you're screwed and should find a new friend, cause she'll never be normal again. j/k

yeah, maybe you're right. so maybe the answer to the question is - "yes, Gems are humans also."

hrm...you bring up another good point, M&M. i always have problems with rules or changes that i dont understand. unless it is explained to me exactly why something is good or better for me, i generally refuse to accept it. it's horribly difficult for me to just take someone's word for it or to just try it and see. if it's not clear to me why i would want to do something in any way other than mine, i just plain wont. it might be my Mars in Taurus that causes it though. hadn't thought about that in this context, but...hell, it gets me into plenty of trouble in other areas, so why not romance too? hehe.
