Gemini men and ignoring

What does it mean when a Gemini ignores you? Is it in-yer-face ignorasmus?

My lecturer is Gemini and you can tell just by his small, light eyes and that very androgynous look. I dont know his birthday but I would like to know his moon.

He has this shifty eyes that weirds me out, its like he cannot look straight at you. I dont even know how to interpet that. I get slightly pissed off, though, because I usually look straight at people.

And, he tends to ignore me for some reason. It's nothing sexual or anything; he's married and I'm not trying to hook him. I know he's a nice guy, but I cannot get to know him better and respect him as real person because I don't know who he is or what he's trying to project.

Does he not like me, or prhaps doesn't want me to impede on his authoriteh? I don't know, but I want him to write me letters later on. Er, not that kind, but THAT kind. I know he's got solid credentials and is quite awesome.

But as typical gem men go, too fluid and care too much of what people think. I'd say he may even be overtaken by the class just because.. he's a bt too accomodating.

.. but he ignores me because, why?

Maybe he is nervous/shy/an avoider. Set up an appointment with him or drop in during office hours, so he can't escape.

It's not that he's escaping, but I can't figure him out. I usually can figure people out quite fast.

Oooh. It will take time to get to know his facets. Lots of conversation bout various topics. Perhaps he doesnt want to be figured out...geminis can be elusive like that.

The last time I saw some shifty eyes, it was on a psychiatrist.

It's like he has eyes but they're looking into the blank space between reality an an ultra thick lens (but he's not wearing glasses).

lecturer like college professor? i don't think he's being elusive on purpose, i think a lot has to do with the setting. gemini's are at their best one on one so you might want to meet with him at office hours and you discuss your view/interpretation of something from his lecture and see where the conversation with him goes from there. i think gemini's are very comfortable doing all the talking and being among a crowd so they have a tendency to hide behind that and not reveal too much.

Not college professor, just a class I am trying to finish with.

Eh I don't think its appropriate .. I prefer an in-class setting hahaha

... but I might try that. BUT he doesn't seem to give me avenues for follow-up. Actually, I feel uncomfortable because I feel he's hiding something.. not sure what, but I dont get that with others.

he might just be hiding himself... ya know, not wanting to make it personal and keep it professional... or it could just be that he's nervous. like ewe said, we are better at the one to one. me personally, speaking to a crowd is not for me and i would do the same thing. avoid eye contact at all costs. i would rather be IN the crowd.

Yah, I think you're right.. somehow he manages to hide nicely in the spotlight.

Just a guess, but I kind of have the problem he has.I'm a Gemini and I have a Venus in Cancer (which as you know Venus means love and relationships) They say Venus in Cancers have to feel comfortable in their surroundings. I look down a lot cause I'm shy and slow at forming friendships with people. I look away from people cause I'm either scared of them, not envolved in the conversation or just being shy. And if he's a Gemini he'll open up if he is comfortable in his enviornment hahaha. I guess you can try to talk to him and befriend him and if he finds your intentions true, then the walls and cloaks will fall and you be able to see the things about him in a clear perspective.

i dont think they're necessarily ignoring you on purpose i feel gemini ppl have so mmuch going on in their mind...constantly on the go that they dont have time for the little (yet very necessary) things.

When you get to know your teacher over a longer period of time, you can become friends.
..and nothing more.

Plus, I am more interested in observing people than being involved in anything.. much less a family man with two young kids to feed.

Meh. There's a difference between Aries and Libra. Libra always thinks twice and live in their head. I'd take a novel to an illicit affair any day.

I think this all went the wrong way.
I thought Gem lecturer could help with some writing of letters, but I guess I came to realize it wasn't such a good idea. I never got to know him and it wouldn't be polite to take him by surprise in private for an unannounced task, since we didn't connect well during class anyway.

All I can say is, he's not my fave teacher, but he's got the best credentials behind him, or at least seems like it. But, if it comes to an end and I don't get to know him, I shan't be asking him for said letters.

Now perhaps I have made myself clear. 🙂

Oh, and that shifty eyes got me intrigued for a bit, but I have concluded that it's an evasion technique that he should have mastered before so as not to raise any alarm. Plus, it doesn't make sense to lose focus when said person is making a point just because the eyes dissipated the whole concentration. It's distracting and unnecessary.

This Gem lecturer is actually very wise in the things he says. It seems like he knows way more than surface stuff since he's been managing people for a long time.

But when you say emphatise with him it's like me being his boss and empahtising with him, aint it? It's like he doesn't look at you when you talk to him, so basically, you lose focus even when you talk.

And I don't wish to talk to him after class especially since I can't talk to him during lessons.. you know what I mean?

And the next course will be unrelated to this, so I am not sure how useful will be his letters too.. hahahaha...

Nevermind. I originally made this post to uncover the shifty eyes thingy. It gives me a bad feeling.

But thank you for your pointers. I will see how it goes and if it all fits together I will request his penmanship 🙂

This approach is a tried and tested method, I know an aries who did this and got the gem/canc cuspian(who's more a gem) to totally focus on her during class and actually onnllly teach her, give her the top priority treatment. Oh, it later did lead to them having an affair and all that... but thats not the point, 😛 and we got away with just sucking up to the aries instead of the tutor 😉 and giving her a huge ego boost, lol... she's not all that bad, but shooting us jealous looks if we had to even talk to him about doubts/questions was definitely uncalled for. She was quite power hungry and seems like she might even kill to achieve. Oh, and for all the others wondering how this happened, these were not univ classes, just a couple of technical classes that our employer had arranged for us... the so-called tutor was barely a yr or two older than us.

Btw, I know some students who do this too at him (he's way too susceptible to this) and that student is a Libra btw but I wont do it for some unknown reason.

Plus, I'd be in his shoes sometime in the future, and if anyone pulls that on me, they'd be going straight tohell or I'd like to think so. 😉

I won't do what he's currently teaching, but I am thinking he may be a good option for letter writing since he's recent and all that. BUT.. its unfortunate I could never get to know him.

The one way you can instantly spot a Gemini is the constantly moving eyes. The only time our eyes are still is if we are staring into space (having a mind freeze) or we are gazing at something intensely (either really mad or in a loving way). Other wise our eyes will be moving with our brain waves and that is fast. What does it mean— Nothing just normal for us.

But how do you talk to someone if they have eyes that move around?
My uncle is a Gem, but he looks at me when he talks..
this one though, there's something strange about him, it seems like he's hiding something but I cant figure out what..
I guess I gotta rely on my intuition on faith for this one..

The user who posted this message has hidden it.I think people have a hard time understanding how a person can be so direct and honest without pretence, because most are not. Most people are risk-averse and care what others think.

Aries is "foolhardy" and lives for risk, and most of the time could care less what others think (in this sense Aries is the poster child for the liberated self). Aries just lets it all hang out and doesn't mind who gets crushed underfoot, for lack of a better term.

Now, there's no malice in the motivation, but the consequences oftentimes leave people doubtful as to Aries' integrity, since how can such an honest person be at the same time so careless and insensitive?

And this is where the doubt comes into play. We don't usually associate honesty with carelessness and insensitivity, so people try to understand/figure out Aries.

The key is to distinguish between motive and consequences. Aries is focused on the motive of action, while most others look at the consequences of the action.

I do think the life task of an Arian is to reconcile motivation with consequence, only then will the real potential of Aries be fulfilled.
