How do you know if you love someone really deeply?

I'm an Aries and I've been in a relationship with this Gemini guy for a year. Things are going great, and we even plan how our future would be. Including marriage or adopting a kid.

He's a wonderful boyfriend and always being so patient with the self-absorbed and selfish me.

At first, he often tells me about how he felt like he's not worthy to me because of his financial condition and some other things (But really, I never mind at all!!). I always try to boost his confidence and told him to DREAM BIG. Like, let's conquer the world together!! Or at least, let's be rich together! lol.

I love how he hugged me so tight. Or how he always want to entwine our fingers every time we holding hands.

But sometimes we still went through problems. Mostly caused by miscommunication tbh. As an Arian, I often being the one that explodes and throwing tantrums at him. And he often cries after we've been through a conflict. He said it's because he's so relieved that he could pour his emotion after holding it so much. Yes, his bipolar behavior is a bit annoying for me, but I always feel bad about it at the end, and makes me don't want to lose him more. 😭

I have Aries in Venus and I always express my love to him as clear as I could, telling him that I love him so passionately everyday. He always said that he loves me, too. But one night, when I jokingly asked about whose love is bigger, he answered after awhile that there might be a bit difference and that my love for him might be bigger than his for me. And that shocked me because I always thought our love is equally mutual. It made me SO INSECURE ABOUT MYSELF;;

I couldn't be that clingy because we're currently on LDR. But I'm afraid that I might make him bored someday, or make him annoyed by my insecurities. I love him too much....

So, geminians, how do you consider yourself loving someone deeply? or do you ever does?

I do love deeply. Possibly too deeply 🙂 How to define it..hmm. I am completely devoted and faithful. I don't even really "see" other men because I could care less about them. I only see him. If he needed me to bring him toilet paper at 4 am or I would do it no questions asked. Lol, ok maybe I'd make a joke about it but I'd still do it. Any thing he needs I'd do my best to do it for him because he does the same if not more for me. He's a Cap so I think it makes him happy to do things like that for me. I include him in my whole life because he's a big part of it and it's all or nothing for me once you know you're in love.

I do think a lot of times in relationships one person has stronger feelings than the other. It doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't love you, or isn't in love with you, but you two love differently to some extent since you're not the same person. So there's no exact equal amount because you both probably show it in different ways (hopefully that makes sense)

Now, with that said... I'm not sure I fully understand. You talk about a situation that really has nothing to do with the questions asked... this sounds more like a validation thread, which is something you might not get from a gem... I could be wrong about that, but I don't think so.

So, my question to you is... what exactly do you want validation for??

Normally, as a gem, I will show it with the lil things. I won't say it a lot, but I'll show it. How a gem shows it is different per person. BUT, there will be no mistaking it and no questioning it, either.

Yeah, I'm starting to think so, too... It just scares me a bit of the thought of him getting bored of me or doesn't love me anymore someday. My first bf (an aqua) left me because it turned out he never really loved me. Dating an air guy again, I'm just really afraid of the thought!

I show my love by doing things for people. I can be super touchy and affectionate too. I'm always there for the person if I'm in love with them. But you will never get mushy shit like an "I love you" out of me. Never. I don't say it but I'll make it felt.

I see here that gems are not the type to show love through words despite communication being their main characteristic... That's kinda surprising.

But yeah, I don't hear a lot of "I love you"s often from my bf unless I say it first.
