How To Deal With Boss Having Favoritism/ Affair with Co-worker

Hey gems! I have a question. How do you deal with your boss and co-worker who is flirting/having an affair with each other?

Honestly, lately, i've been pretty careful and upset with a co-worker of mine and our boss. First of all, their are obviously dlirting with each other. Second, the other day, i won the competition but since our boss wanted to spend time having coffee with the korean lady, he declared her the winner even if i had more points. If not for my female boss, i would have been left out. I dont care about the prize, honestly. But the obvious preference of that girl over me who is performing my job to the best i can makes me feel like it will start being unfair soon enough. It is annoying. Its too obvious. I feel like they are violating something but i cant pinpoint what for now. Oh well. Is this just me being too observant again?!

I wouldn't do a thing... most places/companies have rules against that. Fratranizing with employees won't end well. Only rare occasions does it ever fair well. If your company has rules against it... it won't take long for it to be found out and both will be fired. Becuz judging by the behavior you describe, they aren't actually keeping it quiet...

I'd better be more observant. And maybe try to protect myself. It's not fair for a lazy person like her to actually get extra favors for opening her legs. Imagine, whenever she talks to me she expresses her disappointment that she has a lower rank than most of us. Considering that this is her first job, I told her that everyone has to start at something. That promotions didnt come over night. She is starting to irritate me because she was acting like its totally unfair on her part when she has been in the job for only 6 mos! She flirts with the director so someone will protect her or she can ask favors like when she isnt hitting her targets. She shows me their text messages to each other which makes me uncomfortable. The director is married and she is a slutty young new grad student. She comes to the office wearing super short skirts or sleeveless or crop tops that sometimes is totally inappropriate. She looked like that and wondered why one of our clients asked her if she would go to a motel with him.

Ohhhhhh her presence irks me. She is lazy. But I am just feeling a bit worried that eventually it will affect my promotion since in the team there are only 2 women. Me and her. But I cant flirt with the boss. He isnt my type and its unethical. 😢((
