Jealousy mind games

A Gem friend (not the same one) has been crushing on me for a while, and today he texted me to say there's a girl he works with that's reminding him of me.
I asked why, and he said "Her face".
To which I replied.
"She must be fucking fugly"
And he said: Nah she's kinda hot.

He knows all about the other Gem, but he still wants to date me. And honestly, last night we talked on the phone for an hour and half, and he said things that makes me wanna go on a date or two with him.

Do you think he's playing a mind game to see my reaction?

I hesitate either replying: "Why don't you ask her on a date?" or, something else but I don't know what that could indicate I'm available LOL

I replied with:
"Ask her on a date. And if she doesn't ***** and *****, ditch her!"
(***** being two sexual acts he's into a lot, that I'm into as well and not many girls do)

Just to tease him and show him I'm a better option than the co worker ha!

Dawwwh... crafty words. Just go on a date with him. Take the stigmas of the last ugly Gem out of your mind and give him a shot. You are obviously greatly intrigued. :p
