Long time gemini friend plus more?

I will try to make this as short as possible. I have known said gemini man for 5 years. We talked frequently 5 years ago for a bit over 1 year and then poof..he deleted me out of his life. Fast forward to present time...I sent him a msg and he responded within 30 minutes. We met for dinner and caught up and I had mentioned to him that I am happy he found the one and got married. He admitted that he got married because he was tired of being alone and he married after 1 year of dating his current wife. A few weeks ago via text msg..he admitted he thought about me quite a bit after he stopped talking to me and misses me now and he missed me after we stopped talking. He is a gemini with his moon in aquarius and rising in pisces. I'm a sun in cancer, moon in gemini and rising in scorpio. He is married and off limits however if he were ever to get divorced..whats your opinion on gemini guys dating their friends that they have known for awhile? (I am not one to pine after something I can't have and I'm not going to wait around for him to become available I was just looking for some insight).

I asked him and he told me he stopped talking to quite a few of his friends in the area after he moved out of state for graduate school. He apologized and told me not to take it personal.

Gems will always come back if you mean something to them. If he didn't try to contact you at any point then it doesn't look good. Even if he didn't want to contact anyone once he moved out of state then if he cared he would have tried to contact you at some point especially if it's not hard to find you.

A message sent and response 30 mins later....Telling. Don't let someone use you as a distraction. 😢

To add to what @littlemegabyte said who said anything about divorce? married men use the terms inconvenienced not in a happy space not feeling loved and respected by my spouse just to get into your pants. 1st you contacted him. 2nd Geminis tell you what you want to hear but actions speak louder than words. 3rd he's married. We must stop chasing guys. Once he terminates all kind of communication he saying he don't want you. even after 10 years you would have been the 1 to initiate communication. You know why. .. He never cared about you
