PLEASE restore my image of Gems!!!

Remind me the fun side of yall! PLEASE!!!!

As all of you probably know by now, I am FINALLY divorced from my Gem ex-husband. The beginning years were great. Very exciting. But as years wore on, we bacame more and more turbulent to the point that it was poor communication, fighting, he cheated, ugly divorce (took a year and half of fighting to get it final), Etc. I take much responsibility in my part as I was typical cap - indifferent, not warm enough, argumentative, judgemental, nonspontaneous, etc. So, no, I'm not blaming him - we are both to blame. We were just too different and our differences drove us apart. Not an all around good match.

It is hard to remember the good traits because I focused on the negative for so long (and I'm sure he feels the same - or worse - about me, lol!).

Soooo, PLEASE, restore my positive image! Tell me stories of yall's good side! He's the only Gem I really know well. I don't want to be prejudice on Gems because of one I didn't get along with. I believe yall are fun, nice people and I'm very serious. Trying to heal, so please be nice!

Gems are cool in my book. They stimulate your mind constantly. You literally can't get bored with them.

One of my best friends is a Gemini. He's fun as hell and always helps me to open my mind to new things.

Back in may I threw a party for my daughters friend, someone we have know since she was five. Her mother is a dead beat and I felt bad for her, so I made a lasagna bought a cake, some beverages, invited some of her friends and family.

We had a really good time. I didn't expect any thanks, although she greatly appreciated my time and effort even though she wasn't one of my own, I treated her as if she was. I always did even when she was a little girl.

My daughter use to get jealous(Scorpio rising, Moon in Aries)of how close we were at times.

i have done this for my daughter's friends, too. all her friends call me mom. 🙂

@truecap: if you want... i can always stand on my head in a corner and recite the funny parts in forest gump. 😄

Are you kidding me!? He is still with her! Admitted it to me face to face! The entire town suspected it!

I can see why he did - we fought for two years before we split up. I was not easy to live with. I take my responsibility, but he definitely did it!

I don't know about other Gem men, but this one did the deed.

😉 Well that's what they keep telling me here in Gem Land! they are honest and they never lie.

I was dating (or thought I was) one until his WIFE showed up.

And then there was the one who was "leaving his wife" (about 20 years ago and everyone is still waiting to see it happen)

No I am telling her precisely what I have been told her on the Gem board, that Gem guys are honest and don't cheat.

Can't say I waste time hating them....but don't like being shat on by someone who has my trust.
#2 disappointed a lot of his friends with stuff that he did to me - he has since done similar things to a couple of other girls which isn't very nice (in my humble opinion)

I'm actually quite surprised that chicks with relatively independent natures (that don't need to hang off a guy's arm 100% of the time) like Caps and Aries aren't great matches for Gem Guys.

We do have a Lady Ram here somewhere who is married to a Gem, but I haven't seen her post for a while. D- something I think her name is.

Oh! Sorry! You were being sarcastic! I didn't get that. Didn't realize what your story was.

There are some really good Gems out there! Like all signs, we all have our assholes (visit the Cap board - supposedly there are a LOT of asshole Caps! lol!), but each sign has some really good people, too.
