This Gem boy is a strange one

First off, I'm a virgo (with a scorpio moon). And my track record with Gem boys has not been great at all. In fact, I tend to stay away from them at all costs (although, I get along well with the gem girls). However, I'm getting to know this one gem that hasn't managed to piss me off in the first five seconds. In fact, he's incredibly sweet. He's a little rough around the edges, but very engaging and smart. I only assumed that I got the good twin minus the few times he was a little douchey. So, I looked up his chart, and this is what I got:

How would this affect his general gem nature? I've never clicked this well with a gem, so it makes me a little nervous, however I can tell he's quite genuine.

This is really the first time that I've actually clicked with a gem. And he definitely didn't seem to be the type that I'd be attracted to. He does seem to be more grounded than the other gems I've dealt with.
