OK now I'm convinced!

I just moved into a new house that was redone but OLD. I also happen to live in a town who's claim to fame it Ameila Earhart's birth town and the most haunted town in Kansas 😛

I was laying on the bed with my kitties (so I know it wasn't them) and there were all sorts of odd noises all night long. I'm all by myself at the moment so I kept the tv on for sound and comfort while I slept and damned if it didn't turn it's self off. Lights turn off and on, the radio flips on by it's self and the kittens were growling at something unseen at the top of the stairs. They stood at the bottom of the stairs all poofed up growing staring up the stairs. All at once they both took off running hissing and yowling and hid. THAT scared me because they are good natured kittens that don't act like that EVER.
Maybe it's because I'm in a new house all alone but it's creeping me out big time. I thinking about telling Aries I want to move when he gets home 😢 It's such a pretty house though. Redone hardwoood floors!!! 2 bathrooms! No sharing a bathroom with a man and risking falling in the tiolet in the middle of the night because he's left the seat up!! If you stand outside it and look up in the bedroom windows it looks...... scary. Like someone is going to walk up to the window and wave. *shudders*

It doesn't help I lost power due to a storm the other day and I had to sit there with freaking candles. I was so scared I went and sat out on the front porch (in the rain) til dawn. I guess I'm a chicken.

LOL They are babies! So no mating. They wouldn't know how yet. They were quite upset about something though. They freaked me out.

animals play jokes on us they say watch this then they perk up there ears look at a door and stand the hair up on there backs and meow. when we get done looking and freak out they ha ha behind our backs.

They better not being messing with me! I was really scared!! Lil shitheads. I'll take away their catnip!

Cats can really be mean there is a bunch of them in Canterbury who are after SHABOOM had something to do with him tring to Baptize them.

Old land..........old house redone........of course there is some history. Whether in the house or on the land.

I'm here to tell you simply. The ethereal plane of existance is right here within and next to ours. The spiritual energies of angels, unclean spirits, good ghosts, evil ghosts, demons, devils, and things even more unspeakable are quite literally around you all freakin day. Where do you think your evilest thoughts come from?? You? Or the demon whispering in your spirit?? Wake up and stop being ignorant. Once again, anybody who does not beleive will feel a fool after they die. Even if I am being dragged to hell, which almost happened in one of my near death experiences, I will laugh at all those who said, NOPE no such thing. HAHA There was a thing in london, called SPringheel Jack. It was sighted mostly attacking young women in church yards late in the evenings. It had backward jointed legs, a skeletal face with blue flames licking from within it's fanged mouth, red glowing eyes, and from it's sleeves skeletal hands with raptorlike talons. On more than three occasions, it was chased by great mobs of people wielding torches, and farm implements. It was said to make inhuman leaps of hundreds of feet, over walls, and seen clinging like some supernatural spider to the sides of churches and walls. It was seen by LARGE LARGE groups of sane, sober people. There are many more stories in my memory. I choose to educate myself rather than remain ignorant. It is truly a fools errand to say; "There is no such thing." When you can learn for yourself. Most people say there is no such thing, simply bcuz it is easier to say that, than face the idea that your sins will be accounted for after you die. Ignorance is bliss. For the ignorant know not the terrible horrors that are all around us as we eat, sleep, have sex, lie, cheat, steal, rape, murder, or anything else you can think of. Wisdom brings sorrow. SO perhaps I envy those who say; "No such thing."

For all of you who do not beleive in demons. Go buy yourself a ouija board. Toy with it with some friends. What happens next will make you beleive in demons. Oh, I say that bcuz if it says it's a spirit of a man or woman or child, it's lying to you. I say all this for your own good, not mine. For if you beleive in demons, you must beleive in angels, and if you beleive in those, You know who their masters are. DO IT IF YOU ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO SAY THERES NO SUCH THING.

The feelings your getting from your house may just be nerves from moving in perhaps? The kitties may also feel slightly unsettled from moving house..
The best advise I can give you is, change the whole atmostphere in your house, don't feel scared, it's your home! Make it feel as plesent as you can and ignore any strange feelings you get unless you see something distinctive that screams ghost. In the event of that happening I suggest you get a preist in or some sort of professional.

My home 2 story home is over 30 yrs old. When we first bought the house 8 yrs ago it was scary.


Everyone would be downstairs we can clearly hear someone upstairs walking or moving stuff around. Its not only at night either, you hear the noises at anytime.

I was cooking and cleaning on wednsday and my daughter got home, we could clearly hear someone stomping up there.


Now we just live with it. I figure they were already here when we moved in...we just leave them alone and they leave us alone.

They aren't mean or hurtful.

Did I mention, you can hear someone having a converstaion sometimes, but never make out what they're saying.

Yeah I have friends and acquaintances who have been to these ouija-and-what-not gatherings and basically nothing happened. Nada thing. Like expected it was just lame and silly -- and don't tell me you have to believe it in order for it to work! In fact the only people I know that have experienced demons and shit are the ones with psychological problems. It's all in you mind... like all other "mysteries" in life.

I believe in ghost though, but I don't believe that there are realms where good and evil are battling it out. God/Satan, angels/demons... those concepts don't exist in my world. What goes on in your mind is the greatest mystery. Everything outside is meaningless.


And as usual when Penn & Teller do it it's all bullshit. Seems bullshit is an re-occuring theme on their show.... 😛

I agree with intellectualbrat, don't play with the board and open portals so I've heard. Even if ghosts and spirits are there all the time, I am glad they keep their asses in their deminsion. I don't want to eat popcorn next to a demon, next thing they're so comfortable eating my popcorn. It's bad enough to deal with people, I don't want to deal with other entities.

If it gets too much I would find a professional or maybe start by putting big religious simples like the cross in the rooms that creep you out the most. Good luck

Dude, for someone that knows so much and impressed me with your first post... you blew it in this one. How irresponsible is it to tell people who are inexperienced, and don't believe to begin with, to go out and buy a ouija board? Seriously. Do you know the only country that sells that board as a game is the USA... if you go to most anywhere else, you have to go to a New age/ Witch specialty store to get one. I refuse to let one pass over my threshold. Why not tell people to go to Fort Mifflin, or spend a weekend at the Shanley in upstate NY... or find a locally known hotspot to spend time at... even go on an investigation or two to see how everything is done—?

Honestly, that sort of sounds residual... an imprint on replay. Make a log. Take notice to times and days.

Animals sense things. More than human. Watch them. If they're fixated on the stairs pretty sure there's something there. You choose to be a skeptical. But its out there. And if it's an old house re built. There is history. Hopefully its a natural death. And not some psycho mass murder type of ghosts.. lol
