Can This Forum Support a Chat Room for Members
Currently, this forum does not have a built-in chat feature. Adding a chat room would require integrating a third-party service or platform. It could facilitate real-time conversations among members, but moderation and technical setup are important considerations. For now, members can use existing messaging features or external chat platforms for live discussions.
I just saw a thread that was removed that was probably asking the same question but I don't know if it was referring to mirc. There are other ones out there too. We could also set up a room in ventriolio (sp?) or whatever.
This is why we also need an edit button. :3

I say YES, to adding a chat space to DXP. I think it would be a good thing.

Bringing up this old chestnut again. Has anyone considered yahoo conference or other modes of IM ?

Perhaps not a yahoo conference en masse, but for day to day chatting, keeping in touch? It'd work just fine.

I don't know if this forum is capable of using a chat server, but I think it would cool to have a chat room on this site where members can talk to each other in real time. I know people here like to get really out of hand so I think having at least one moderator, if DXP won't do it preferably someone who knows how to use chat serves like mirc.
