I dont like the red color. It would screw my eyes real soon. and i find myself tempted to switch to another page asap.

too wide, slow... i already miss the 'primitive' style

me too.

1. simple was better.
2. quote will be abused and making pages full of repeatition.
3. the top bar is very wide. I have to run after it each time to get buttons like bookmark.
4. "return to" links are redundant cause we have still page numbers and "message boards" forum.

but I can attune to it. :-)

I see that you still have a few things to work on but overall, its an improvement.

Don't get too fancy Mr. DXP 😉 Adding new things is wonderful, but still keep it simple enough so it doesn't look like those MySpace walls.

OMG, those are horrible and hard to load too.

Modifications + keeping it simple = complete aweseomeness 🙂

I don't like this latest design at all. There is no definition to the site. Dimensions are off.

If you are still working on it, DXP Goawd, then no problem but I sure hope what ever you intended can be fixed. It's like torture reading the posts on a white white background with no ease on the eye. DXP logo looks like out of Horror House.


But still a great thank you for all you have done.

Hello Mr DXP --

Sorry for my hasty post before this one. I didn't know what was going on when I suddenly saw the changes yesterday. I thought I sleep over and try again the next day, but I see you like to improve your site to a new look.

To be more specific, I came up with the following points I thought would be an improvement. Hope you don't mind my requests:



Hoping for Modifications (current dislikes):


1- Hope you can fix that huge gap underneath —Message Boards??

(I waited and waited thinking the webpage needed to download still. I closed up window and restarted repeatedly thinking there was something wrong)


2- Enlarging of the area of when clicking onto Topics; it is too narrow for now.

(Selection area). The area turning grey when moving curser, can it be slightly darker greyish fill? (perhaps slightly darker than 5% density) -- Just for better definition.


3- Font too small: Top/right corner menus (messages | bookmarks | all users options, etc).

4- I hope the background doesn't stay as white. Some light/warm parchment colour would be easier on the eyes.

5- It is hard to see the light grey DATE/ TIME of responses. I have 20/20 vision.

6- D signature beside DXP great addition! Too bold though, didn't recognize what it was first. I have a flat screen monitor — not sure if that makes a difference.

7- Width of DXP webpage needs adjustment to fit the screen.

8- Add your message button (super!). A heading showing where your post is going to be posted would be great: Board & Thread Heading. Suddenly you have this message box and start wondering if you are creating a new topic.


9- Quote option is great! Agree that it can be redundantly used and use up too much space. Sometimes it is just one sentence we like to highlight, could there be an option of only using Quote for a specific section?

OFA -- yes it was always white, but there were more defined tables. Now everything looks like one big white.

i like the changes. however, i agree with luna. needs some fine tuning for sure. perhaps it's already in the works, but i would suggest making the look of profiles congruent with the new look of the site.

yeah, the large blank white space where you have to scroll way down to the index of forums. It's nice someone else noticed. That is what i mean't too, dxp..

The problem with the main Message Boards page spacing should be fixed now. If you are still seeing the problem, try refreshing the page and if that doesn't work clearing out your browser cache.

The Main message board is working perfectly now..
