ascendant signs and other stuff

Well, I feel that all aspects need to be considered...the rising sign, moon sign, etc.
I do feel that the sun sign will always rule however...
I have a book you may enjoy called "The Only Astrology Book You Will Ever Need" by Joanna Martine Woolfolk...it will walk you through your entire birth chart, as well as give descriptions...
When I first learned of my rising sign...I was unhappy with it as I thought that conflicted too much with my sun sign...but, I have learned to adjust and felt that the insight was invaluable.

Anybody else ever analyze the other stuff...it is said that the rising sign really affects one...true or not true??
