The chase was over...you were taken, he wanted something he couldn't have, laid out all his tricks and then when it finally came back and you gave him the flirting and time back...he got what he wanted.

Anyways, he was someone I had known for years. He was always being extremely playful and flirtatious since I met him, showering me with praise whenever he saw me. To be fair, he seemed to have this flirtatious nature with all women around me, not just me. He was always also very cocky, but was always helpful and lent an ear to me whenever I needed someone to talk to. He was practically a mentor to me for many years. Well, after my most recent relationship ended I decided to flirt back, since I never had before. I complimented him a lot, became playful/teasing the same way he was with me, and just generally hung around him more. He did a complete 180 on me. After that, he complimented me a lot less, stopped all playing/teasing, and barely said hi to me anymore. Even when I sent him an email or anything he would either take forever to respond, or not respond at all. I was so confused, and when I think back to it I still am. I have no plans of trying to date him in the future, but I'm curious, my fellow Leos, what happened? Was he just a big flirt who never intended to commit? Should I have done something differently?
Just looking to learn more about y'all 😉
