One of your fellow pride members has been trying his hand at fishing and, in turn, has caught the attention of this little fish.
I don't have any dating experience with leo males or people with fire-y charts. I'd just like some advice on what you guys tend to enjoy in relationships and what annoys you, etc. Of course, basic tips or your own personal views are all I'm asking for, just to understand leos, in general, better. The leo I'm talking to is his own unique person and if it gets to that point, I will find out his own personal views on this. We are still in the early-mid talking stage, so no, we're not dating and no, we are not sure if things are going to progress enough for that. We have a lot in common, so far, and we communicate very smoothly. I'm hoping this isn't the 'we-re too alike so things will become boring very fast' kind of thing. If I'm going to put any faith in astrology, though, our charts are very different, so we should have enough differences to keep things interesting. We're meeting up tomorrow, so I'll have a better idea, then. : )

Anyway, I've realized I have little idea, besides a few negative descriptions (just because of threads and stuff I happened to come across), on what leo lovers are like. So I figured that this was a good time to find out what you guys are like regardless if this leo and I will get anywhere. I will, however, post his chart, in case anyone has any specific advice or experience with any of his placements.
I know that if I look through the threads here that I can probably get a good idea as to the answer of my question, but, I'm too lazy. Thus, I can only expect those who aren't tired enough from repeating the same things to respond to this.

If tl;dr: What are male, leo lovers like and what annoys them in relationships. Also, if any experience with placements in chart below, state.

Sun Leo 26.40
Moon Cancer 9.45
Mercury Leo 26.39
Venus Leo 25.50
Mars Leo 28.21
Jupiter Aries 29.44 R
Saturn Sagittarius 14.32
Uranus Sagittarius 22.47 R
Neptune Capricorn 5.27 R
Pluto Scorpio 7.28
Lilith Leo 0.07
Asc node Aries 2.48

He might also be a leo ascendant, which would be something. And actually, the only placement I'm worried about is his moon, not the fire placements, so hearing from leo sun/cancer moon guys would be nice.

(Warning: Do not eat the fish.)

What worries you about his moon, Scenic?

I'm always 50/50 on water moons. I've dealt with a lot of scorpio moons and while I think we can understand each other well, they're very emotionally demanding and draining...prone to manipulation (not all scorp moons, just the guys I've dealt with). I have to admit, I don't have good views on cancer suns, so while I don't have experience with a cancer moon, I worry that it might turn out like the scorp moons in the emotionally demanding/manipulative part of it, also. Of course, these are generalizations and I hate even partially believing them, but....it is what it is.

@Poisson, it really is. I laughed to myself when I pulled up his chart.

Thanks for the feedback, jynja! I like enfant so maybe that's a good sign. : )
I'm the type to ask for clarification or to ask what my partner is thinking or feeling in certain situations, so maybe if he would be like that, cryptic, keeping things to himself, perhaps that may help? But, some people don't like talking about things, which I can respect, since I am the same. I'm going to ask him if he sometimes finds himself testing people, now that you said that. Haha, he has to get used to my directness, sometime. I'll do it tactfully. : )

The two scorp-dominant exes of mine loved fishing for compliments, so it would be a nice change of place if he genuinely didn't care about that. I will maybe find that out, myself.

Thanks again for your input!

@Ninja, hahahaha, I was going to put in the OP something like: *crosses fingers to avoid getting another e-stalker*. Right now he seems really laid back and I have been very honest about my flakiness in relationships and he has taken it really well. So, I'm hoping that he won't be like that. I think he has too much on his plate to turn out like that, though. He has kids from a previous relationship (anyone remember when I said I probably wouldn't date someone with kids? Hahahaha...Also, the girl and one of his kids is a leo. Leos everywhere!), so I think he has to be a bit more mature in situations like this. Or maybe not?

Haha, I've seen a lot of randoms on here say venus in leos are selfish lovers, but I wonder what they're really like? If this progresses, that certainly would be an experience.

Okay, he said:
He sometimes tests people if he needs reinforcement and affection and that he is open and doesn't hide suspicions or worries.

Well, at least we won't have a problem with honesty. He said he was flattered that I'm asking about him. Haha.

Anyway, any other input would be appreciated, as well. As of now, leos sound pretty manageable for my watery chart, at least.

@Dimps, gotcha! I will try my best. I will keep my mutable inconsistency in check!

@Jynja, really? I didn't know that. He spent 5 years with his leo ex, but she cheated on him. They didn't work out in the end, but I guess they somehow made it work for that long. I don't know of any other leo/leo relationships, so maybe you're on to something.
I've noticed a lot of leo/pisces couples around here, lately. Or just threads about the pairing, I suppose. I haven't seen a lot of leo/cancer, but I also don't check either of those boards very often, so...

Hi Scenic, I'm a Leo Sun/Cancer Moon (also venus in Leo) who was married to a Pisces for 15 years, together 20 in all. Leo and Pisces is a great combination, you will have lots of views in common but with enough differences to keep you yapping away about them for ages, you should have great fun together and understand each other very well. Almost intuitively. Explosive arguments aren't really a thing that happens with these two, and i'm not entirely sure that that is a good thing for a cancer sun who can dwell in the past when things haven't been fully resolved 🙂 But i did find that arguments were not a huge part of the relationship and didn't happen but very rarely. There is a great sense of romance from both these suns that sits well with each other, from his part he will need lots of affection to be shown and to know you are part of his team and have his back - and you will get this automatically from him. He is probably very sensitive especially to criticism. I do think the pisces woman leo man combo is better than other way around and is a very good, loving and caring relationship that could well last the distance, me and ex husband didn't but could have.

It's been a little over 2 years, so it's about time for an update, right? Well, celtic was spot on. No huge arguments and he does need lots of affection. I was worried about his cancer moon, but he handles it well. I found out he has a virgo ascendant. He has lots of 12th house placements. Our suns are also less than 1 degree away from being in opposition.

Anyway, we got engaged a few months ago and things are going great. He laughs at pretty much everything and is very considerate and calm. Since I sometimes mirror people, we rarely have any bad moments. We're both indecisive and he always wants to please me and do what I want to do which causes minor fusses, but not enough to anger either of us.

You leos have always been a positive influence in my life. Anyway, you'll probably see this thread again in a few years for a wedding update. Haha : )

Awwwww...that's awesome. Congratulations and thank you for updating your thread! I'll do that to mine once things progress over a long period of time in my rship. Makes sense to.

As a Pisces woman...how in the heck did you wait so long for him to propose? That seems like a long time...depending on the distance and how often you guys saw each other during the two years you've been together. Did you guys ever have a break up or time out in your rship?

Actually, I think 2 years is short for a proposal (I think 4 years is a good time for proposals). I want to know I can live with the person and not get tired of them. 2 years is around the time I started losing feelings in a past relationship (aries venus), so I figure, if I can get past the 2 year mark and still feel good about it, that it's a good sign. He was waiting for my cue and we even went to pick out the ring together. We do currently live about an hour and a half away from each other, but we'll likely have our own place by the end of the year. I was taking classes only about a half hour away from his place up until recently so we usually saw each other about 3 or 4 times a week. Nope, no break ups or anything. Everything has gone as smoothly as I could have hoped.

Updates are always interesting to read, so yeah, that sounds like a good idea! Keep us updated.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe you have an Aries Moon... or an Aqua Moon--

you're so darn grounded!

I kid... that's a good thing 🙂

And you know I'm really happy for you and your sweet LEO.

I'm sure you'll be wonderful together.

Appreciate the update, Scenic!
