I feel life is at a standstill...
dimplez is right. Do one thing that scares you that solves your problem. be consistent and it will help with how your feeling. you need change. Take action or you'll regret it further down the line.
I'm about to be TOO BLUNT right now warning. Why are you comparing yourself to those on the up and up? what you you doing about your situation? STOP focusing on THEM it's getting YOU nowhere! Map your own success internally until what you do on the outside says wealth. Make your attitude wealthy, your mindset wealthy and your overall being carry yourself among those smarter than YOU. maybe you aren't humble enough so earth has struck you down? maybe not but you have so much to offer and like you said you are still YOUNG. You have plenty of time but what you don't have time to do IS COMPLAIN AND OBSERVE PEOPLE! Get up and do something about your situation DARE TO FAIL. If you are looking to WIN every situation/battle/obstacle that comes your way then your best bet is to stay on the ROPES doing nothing. But if you wish to become stronger FAIL and LEARN then sit among them that are wiser than you and learn a thing or two. Just be the best at what you are doing now, DON"T LET YOUR AMBITIONS SHADOW YOUR SMALL ACHIEVEMENTS! that is all... I'm gone

I have a degree & have never gotten a job in my perspective field, I'm at the same job I had in college, which requires no degree. My friends seem to be on the up and up. My parents think I'm not trying, but truth be told I have. Now have I tried all day every day? No. Could I probably try harder? Yes. But applying to hundreds of jobs and not getting an interview or getting the interview and being told no is disheartening.
