I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad ...

I'm a Capricorn-Aquarius cusp (Jan 21st) with stronger leanings toward the Aquarian side, by far. Capricorn seems rather dull to me. But enough with that. Anyway, for some insatiable reason, I've often found myself attracted to Leo women. I find something very intriguing and alluring about a strong, motivated personality. Part of it is that I do find power attractive. Whether I'm wielding it or someone I fancy is holding it, it's something I'm drawn to.
Here are the qualities I've noticed in Leo women that I'm drawn to:
Assertive personalities.
Radiant and fun-loving. Usually good at making my day brighter.
Compassionate and very intuitively (perhaps to the extent of knowing me better than I know myself) able to connect with people.
Very very intelligent. (I really do think it'd be impossible to not find intelligence attractive as an Air Sign).


On the negative side, they are/have:
Argumentative, often have difficulties bearing responsibility, can be manipulative, use public opinion as a weapon against you (public humiliation, etc.), temperamental.

Overall, though, I see the positives far more brightly than the negative qualities attempt to smother them out.

I find, though, that Aquarians and Leos are opposites on the Zodiac. Which, from what I understand tends to lead to opposite characteristics and a not-so-good match. That's unfortunate for me. To put it bluntly, I'm insatiably drawn to Leo women at this point in my life. I've been reading that, as a whole, Leo women tend to get along well with Gemini and Libra. Both air signs. So that does give me some hope.

What advice, recommendations, stories or views could you offer to help me out here? For example, with advice, I'd like things specific to Aquarians - either from an Aquarian whose had experience with a Leo or a Leo who maybe is irked by Aquarians and would offer some tidbits on how to make adjustments where inherent personality traits might be a problem. Like, maybe you see Aquarians as too random and off-beat. Suggest what could be done to make that work for you. Or maybe there's just so many adjustments that'd be needed, that it's not worth pursuing. If you see it that way, say so! I'm very curious for your insights.

I am a leo woman, this is what I can offer you

1) Whitney Houston-LEO Bobby Brown-Aquarius

they were married about 10-14 years from my understanding.....GREAT attraction, but we are opposites so the two will try to force it to work over and over and over again but most likely it will not.

2) I find Caps boring too, but I am equally intrigued by Aquarians

3) I find aquarians WILD and uninhibited and I love that because we leos are the same but often times we are inspired by our partner or our partner can jumpstart the wild in us (as in Whitney and Bobby) people feel whitney was an angel before him, NEGATIVE, whitney was always wild, Bobby just made her feel safe being so and let her know it was fine to be wild as you wanna be..he didn't CHANGE her he just made her wilder qualities loose and helped her let them come to the surface, we like that, life is never boring with an aquarian/leo relationship. as opposed to Caps who are the exact opposite to me.

4) I do not find we are manipulative AT ALL, Cancers are though.. Quite the contrary I myself do not like to have to SWAY a person to my way of thinking unless its for the greater good/success of us both...DEFINITELY not for anything malicious or negative....

5) Not trying to pretend we have no faults lol because we have many but PUBLIC HUMILIATION IS A NO NO, we can leave that to scorpios who are rude and tactless and like to embarrass others. I actually cannot STOMACH a person who does this...we are defenders of the weak and exploited, rooters of the underdog. NOW IF YOU ARE PHONY and has everyone in the vicinity hookwinked then yeah in little spurts we may blow your spot up because we want to reveal the truth to everyone...but to do it just for the sake of, NEVER

6) DEFINITELY argumentative to a fault...bad tempers,,,but ummmm you aquarians are one to talk lol aint that the pot calling the kettle black? lol smooches

Aquarius on the cusp of Capricorn....you will yield and continue to yield to your leo, if you can do that then your good, also if you like to analyze why and what for, keep that to a minimum b/c this will grate on your leos nerves...they are spontaneous and most are risk takers...yes your leo will do stupid shit, don't try to figure it out, let her be and she will respect you for allowing her to be herself without criticism.

I'm dating a leo and there are difficult times, I find that you have to just build your own life, do your own thing, give leo praise and more praise and jus like cats they will walk away for some time alone and then come back to get more, trust her and don't question her about every little thing, if you can deal with the back and forth behavior, the I love you today and hate you tomorrow type behavior it can work, give her space and room to roam, she will be back.

double standards will be an issue....there is no inbetween with leos, either you worship him/her or you don't, you have to be able to do this thru the good and bad. There is so much more to this union, its a roller coaster ride, no you will never be bored but you will find that your leo may not be the most focused individual on the planet but they are very creative, very dramatic, very loving, very loyal but that doesn't mean they are the most committed meaning yes he/she may be an intensity junky and need constant mental/physical stimulation so cheating may be something you have to deal with...don't look for it though, show your leo she can be trusted but keep your eyes open LOL!!

Don't tell her you love her right away, email me and I will tell you why LOL!! But keep that to yourself if you can help it and remember there is a price to pay for being attracted to strength and its not always good.

If you want to lure and keep your leo...be giving, that means in every way, gifts, nice dinners, emotional displays without all the gushy words, let her do that and if you can help it continue to let her do that without you doing to much of it, this will keep the fantasy going, be attentive, give compliments, find positive things to say and don't brewd when she messes up, no criticisms, just let her know it wasn't cool and let it go, know when to tell her to sit her ass down and stop misbehaving but do it with tact or your going to have a war on your hands....no jealousy, no possessiveness you will turn her off theres so much more...

there will be alot of mental/emotional games coming into play and when I say games I don't mean this in a negative way but this is part of the leo personality, they sometimes test your loyalty, test your temperment, test how much you love them etc etc so you have to not take issues and differences that rear its head too personally, shake that shit off and keep moving ahead, take it from someone who has made a lot of mistakes, if your insecure work on it because leo isn't going to fix you, if anything she will play on that and drive you nutz lol!! Be fearless with this sign or get left behind.

leos love nice gestures but don't do too much too soon or you will be taken for granted....ALWAYS BE CHALLENGING and I mean that, if you jus give and give and give and never challenge her she will bore of you quickly and move on, if she's running game well put your game face on and match that if you can. Don't be scared to step on her toes because she wants you to, she's attracted to strength and she wants to fight and scrap it out sometimes, don't show any signs of weakness or you will be devoured and this will turn her off.

Admire her strength but make sure you can match that fire on some level or she's going to burn you out, they are lovable creatures but please refrain from spoiling the kitty too much, you will have a bratty scratchy cat on your hands and thats no good but yes be nice and be yourself but pay attention to what they are saying, it will reveal a lot about who they are and also find out about past relationships, if she gravitates toward a certain type of man such as the bad boy types then pick up your A game, mimic that behavior in some way and not be so nice all the dayum time or she's going to run all over you.

Aquarius is not for leos they are too cold and perverse they are good friends sometimes but our ego and their zany weird way of life will not mix . we are oppistes we will attract yes but will not last . They would most likely embrass us because they are insenstive . All those are valid points but leos have insatiable appetites for sex so our perversity sits well with alot of leos and yes we can learn lessons from one another, I personally don't have a problem with authority and I have no problem stroking my leos ego, but we do clash and its not over values or goals, its moreso over him doing stupid shit and me not being able to always let that go right away, every relationship has its ups and downs, I personally don't tire of my leos ego, I quite enjoy it but its work thats for sure.

oh and Aquas hate to be embarrassed Kris so no we would never go out of our way to embarrass anyone in public atleast I don't and Aquas are insensitive only when they don't feel safe with the other person but I'm very affectionate but when I'm cold towards a person its b/c I feel slighted and its my way of gaurding my heart.

Well my chart matches up with my leos chart we have astrological numbers in common which means that we have a karmic connection and we have opposite moon signs, his Aqua and mine Leo...i love him despite all the BS and thats whats needed to make anything work, we have our ups and downs but I'm in it to win it and the attraction is strong.

See what people don't understand about Aquas is the bad qualities exist if an Aqua hasn't found themselves but once an Aqua has spiritually realized we don't fit those negative traits as much and the authority issue isn't an issue atleast not for me anywayz, when I was depressed and brewding, angry, mad etc yeah authority was an issue but hell I'm happy all the time so I could care less. Match made in heaven, really. Considering Aquarians do tend to be attracted to the superficial idea/novelty of things and leos are the best at putting on aires. Most astrology books would concur. For me I am drawn to power because I feel only another powerful person can relate to or handle me, unlike the wusses I've had in the past. I find it intriguing it turns me on...but "inner healing and insecurity" I can't connect that. I like aggressive men that have presense when they walk in a room, such as myself..it turns me on lol

Well, I wouldn't say that it applies to everyone, but there is a tendency for people to look for things in a partner that they themselves are lacking. And it is generally people with insecurities who to gravitate toward things such as power, fame, etc. as a form of validation.
