I am an Aries woman who fell in love deeply in love with a Leo man 24 yrs ago. He was in the Air Force at the time I met him. He had just graduated from the Air Force Academy. I was 21 yrs old and he was 23 yrs old at the time. We were magnetically attracted to each other, something for me that I had never experienced in any previous relationships that I had. We were both young, so our connection was quite overwhelming and we both loved it. He was transferred to Oklahoma for additional training and eventually was going to be permanently stationed in California. We met on Veterans Day, November 11, 1988. He went on to Oklahoma and flew in and spent Thanksgiving with me and also flew back in December and spent Christmas with me. The plan was that he stay with me through the week of Christmas that year till New Years and then he would return to Oklahoma. One day I returned from work and he was gone. This was in 1988 so there was no cell phones back then, he left no letter explaining why he left or what could have possibly happened that would cause him to leave so abruptly. He and all the stuff he brought with him were gone. So, of course, I am in a complete state of shock. I tried calling several times the phone number that he had in Oklahoma and he never answered. So I was confused and bewildered. My best friends mother finally said to me, "he is married'. I felt like someone had kicked me in the chest. I was in complete disbelief, I did not want to accept it. I denied it over and over again. My mind could not wrap itself around how he could spend major holidays with me and be married. It just didn't make sense. The 3rd day after he left, I finally received a call from him, he seemed to be upset and all I asked him was, 'Are you married?', his answer, 'Yes' .... Holy Shit, I couldn't believe what I had just heard. He said that he was back in my town and he wanted to explain face to face. I was 21 yrs old, young, naive and blinded by my love for this man. I met up with him, yelled, cried etc ... everything that goes along with this type of Jerry Springer drama. I got pregnant in February, Valentines Day of 1989. He went back to his wife, told me he owed it to his wife to try and make the marriage work. He never saw out son. I recently found him on the internet. We've spoken via email. Our son is 23 yrs old now. He is a grown man who has recently gotten out of the Marines. My Leo love from back in the day moved on with his life and didn't look back.
