Leo men in booty-call relationships: help?

This topic was created in the Leo forum by Galyn on Friday, March 8, 2013 and has 12 replies.

How Leo Men Behave in Booty-Call Relationships

Leo men in casual relationships may show affection beyond typical sex, such as flirting or giving compliments. This can indicate their desire for connection or admiration, even if the relationship is primarily physical. Their behavior varies, but Leo's natural warmth often manifests in gestures that suggest they enjoy the emotional aspect as well.

When Leo men are in a booty-call type of relationship, how do they usually act? Is it normal for them to do the kind of stuff that shows more affection than a "this is just sex" relationship? Would that mean anything or is it just the way they handle that kind of relationship?
All answers are welcome, even if you're not a Leo or a man ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks!

well obviously men act in whatever way they have to act to get the booty as and when they want it. doesn't matter about their sign. what you have to ask yourself is if YOU are ok being in a booty call relationship. however, asking about how a guy acts in that situation rather implies an expectation of more than just sex from him.

ffs....why is it ALWAYS about how the guy acts and what he's thinkingโ€”!!!! why do so many women forget that THEY are numero uno in their lives?

and btw...women who directly or indirectly sign up for a booty call relationship in the hopes that something deeper develops should be carted off to the nearest asylum.

if you can't detach emotionally from sex....don't entertain the idea of being fuck buddies.

I didn't say I wasn't okay with it, what I'm not okay with is his confusing attitude. I knew from the start it wouldn't be more than that, and I also realized that I would probably get attached, and yes I am attached, but I accept that, no big deal. I don't mind people not being into that, but please don't tell me not to do it or that it's plain wrong! We all have different stories ๐Ÿ™‚ I have measured the pros and cons before accepting this and to me, the good outweighs the bad that comes out of it ๐Ÿ™‚

I would just be more comfortable with the guy being clear in his actions. It gets confusing when he holds me back by the hand to kiss me a second time before I leave, when he cooks something for me because he knows I don't like the meal he has already prepared in his fridge, when he talks to me about his plans for his future or when he wants to cuddle a lot before and after, etc etc. Those are all, however, small things, and they might not mean anything at all! That's why I'm asking.

why don't you talk to him about it? if you're close enough to be having sex with eachother, i don't see why you can't stretch to a conversation particularly if you are becoming attached. it may be an awkward convo but it will save you a whole load of heartache in the long run ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmmm, I kind of want to, but I think I'm also scared of the answer (being an aquarius = absolute fear of rejection, yay.) Thanks for the advice, though, I know that I should probably follow it ๐Ÿ™‚

All I did, last time I saw him, was to tell him that I was going to be in another city next year (45 min away), and that if you're not in a couple, you don't just go to another city every once in a while to see a booty-call/hookup. That just doesn't happen. He did just tell me that he was all the time stressed by uni and didn't think about that kind of stuff (and I believe him, he's writing his dissertation and pretty busy/preoccupied by it, he's been talking alot about it), and he looked kind of lost like he didn't know what else to say, so I just said that at some point I'd need an answer and it would be good if he could think about it (that was before he left). I don't think I put too much pressure on him, but maybe I'm wrong?

Ah, it just makes me kind of sad to read that, but at the same time that's also what I was thinking. I'm always balancing between hope and realism, it's really annoying haha. I just feel like we would work out so well as a couple that it's very frustrating to think it will never happen, you know? I don't know if I make sense. I don't expect anything more to tell the truth, because I've always thought "when you expect the worst you're never disappointed", but I can still imagine how things would go if it were to happen, and it makes me sad because I know what I'll be losing (I really think he's an awesome guy) and because I feel like we would actually be quite a good match. FRUSTRATION! I'll get over it. thanks for your answers ๐Ÿ™‚

Australians are just so cute and nice haha! Thank you, it's very sweet ๐Ÿ™‚

And yeah, I know I'll meet other people and everyone is unique and great in their own way, I love that idea, but I just can't be with a guy without having feelings at all, so I'm bound to be hurt at some point (I haven't experienced being heartbroken yet, I can't escape it forever haha). I know Aquas are supposed to be unemotional but it must be my Venus in Pisces (by the way his moon is also in Pisces, I always thought it was a good sign haha).

And I don't blame him for wanting nothing more than that, I don't think he does it to mess up with a girl's mind or to be a jerk or sthg. I actually think it's just because it fits his heavy schedule better to be in that kind of relationship (I'm also 90% sure he's exclusive, and it's also probably because he doesn't have the time to see anybody else or because he doesn't want to make the effort of trying to!).
Although, if it does come to an end, I will still explain to him that my ideal relationship is just this, because I love my independence, but with the addition of being an official couple or something along those lines (it gives me insecurity and emotional ups and downs to be nothing more, but so far its mainly when I'm really tired. Like now. Because it's fuc*ing 3.15 am here.). And if that doesn't work either, well then I'll just have to respect his choice.

Again, thanks for your answer! and the hug ๐Ÿ˜„

No problem at all, my pleasure. And my ideal relationship is much like yours - lots of independence with the 'official' and monogamous component. I'm a venus pisces too, with lots of uranian elements ๐Ÿ™‚

You have softness and sensitivity as well as a very good head on those shoulders. I have every faith that you will do just fine ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I never felt worse in my life than when I "lost myself" in the relationship with my ex. Then when I regained my independence, he became clingy, and the more he was clingy, the more it would push me away...
Anyway, I'll tell you more here when I know more about this Leo guy. And thanks a lot for the compliment, It makes me feel so good about myself hahaha! I like compliments ๐Ÿ˜„ The Leo once said "you're so strange" and I answered "I'll take that as a compliment", to which he answered "You should" ==> He knows how to push the right buttons with me.

awww....i like you galyn and i totally adore the aqua sense of humour...so out there and wacky sometimes. i've dated aquas briefly and although it hasn't worked out they remain great friends cos they make me laugh so hard. one recently got stopped by the cops while driving his car. the reason? the tail of his dinosaur suit had got stuck in the car door and was flapping around the outside lol!! only an aqua eh?

obvs he was going to a costume party.

Hahaha thanks! Yes we do have a strange sense of humour but I take pride in it haha! Laughing is so important in life, my ex who was also a Leo actually got me because of how much he would make me laugh.
But yeah I can totally imagine an aqua with a dinosaur costume hahhaha, fits the profile! Although to be fair I don't know any aquarius guys, and barely a few women with the same sign as me. I've always wondered if being a man or a woman changes a lot to the sign! I mean, are aqua guys different than aqua women?
Same for leos... Although my ex wasn't too much of a leo, this guy is a true one (he's got Leo mars, too, and mercury). He once said to me "I'm a bit of a drama queen" and I thought "that's just so leo haha".

well it's weird but all the aquas i know....4 men (including my bro) and 1 woman ALL share the same feb 9th birthday!!

the woman is as much of a fruitloop as the guys.

i guess there are gender differences with most signs.

Those videos are the cutest thing ever hahaha! And yes he really is a Leo, this is pretty much how he falls asleep: half of his body on mine. Or he wakes up in the middle of the night, says "warm me up, woman" and pulls me against him. He once pretended to fall asleep in front of a movie so that I would pay attention to him and give him affection....... Typical Leo ๐Ÿ˜„

You gotta love aquas haha! I feel like I read a lot more about women who have had bad stories with aqua men, and not so much about dating aqua women.
