Leo's: Which signs seem to be our best matches?

I was wondering what signs tend be good matches for us.

I get on well with aries,sag,libras and geminies and cancers and scorpios.

Aries: Best connection ever... equally as fiery as a leo, a bit impulsive but definitely reliable and there's nothing sexier than an aries woman in action.

Sagittarius: Although not as fiery as leo and aries, I love their brutal honesty and straight forwardness, yes, sometimes having a conversation can be a headache lol, but they are some fun people.

Libra: Libras are so chill, I mean they are the most zen sign, sometimes I wonder how they can even put up with a leo lol, but they can. They have a way of calming the fire down and are fair and logical.

Gemini: Geminies are freakin hilarious, I love their sense of humor, its almost equally as sick as a leos. I also love their honesty and their fearlessness and their playful nature and willingness to have fun.

Cancer: What I love about cancers are their love for family. As a leo, family is important. They are also great mothers and that's also appreciated by a leo. They have a way calming the leo ruthlessness with their gentle watery touch.

Scorpios: They are so similar to us leos its unreal. I like how they are fixed, so I know I can rely on them. I worked with a few scorpios and we did some amazing work, got things done but I have yet to date a scorpio woman.


I don't get along worth a damn with pisces,taurus or aquarius

Pisces: don't get me wrong, they are great healers and can take you on some crazy fun spiritual adventures, but they escape too much from things and run away and don't like taking responsibility, in their eyes they can hit a beehive and think they shouldn't be stung and blame it on the bees if they do get stung. If they weren't escapist, they would be damn near perfect.


Taurus: TOO FREAKIN STUBBORN.............. and cheap, they need to learn to live a little.

I would say ARIES, its like looking in the mirror. But i knew this leo guy that he told me loves taurus women. My younger sis which is a Taurus dated a leo for a long-term

Aries is the best match for me in the fire realm..

Oh Virgo virgo Virgo!!! If you are a Leo woman, you must have had at least one encounter with a Virgo man because they are amazing in all possible ways. He's intelligent and stable, like a dependable rock. He's usually into fitness or have bodies to die for and most Virgo men make good fighters. On the downside, they tend to become workaholics or obsessive by health and exercise. But they make amazing partners because they genuinely care. And if you look at some celebrities with Sun in Leo, you'll find out that their longest relationships were with Virgo men, for example Mila Kunis before Ashton, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez. I can understand why because so have I 😉

when i read the biography of Virgo Guy Ritchie and Madonna....she was the workaholic and work-out freak, according to him. (she's dominant virgo) and while working hard is a good trait, it's not a good trait when you're ignoring your family and personal relationships. That's one of the biggest reasons they parted. She was more into working out regimens than into him.

but yeah my leo neighbor is married to a virgo sun man. They are actually very good together and been together forever.

Only in dxp have I seen and heard of Leos in romantic relationships with Cancer. Especially for a Leo woman... Its known that Leo girls prefer manly men and Cancers rarely represent that. I can't speak for all Leos but personally I'm so not attracted to Cancer men, it's beyond my own control. Even with my Venus in Cancer, I seem to find them unattractive. I think it's the complete opposite for Leo guys who seem to prefer the ultra feminine girly-girl motherly Cancer woman.

Are you serious? Go and RESEARCH. there are plenty of celebs/historical figures to research but you have to WORK to do it. It takes time and WORK. Research doesn't just fall unto your lap. You gotta WORK. plenty PLENTY of cancer/leo suns. Don't be a lazy butt. WORK IT!

There are hundreds of millions of couples in this world. There are 144 possible pairs. You are going to find hundreds of thousands of every sign. It would be foolish to say oh "blank and blank" don't go together based soley on Sun Sign.

Anyway, I think many Leos have Cancer and Virgo placements. Depending on how dominant they are Taurus and Pisces work. Both signs are very romantic and we love that.

To me, Cancer and Leo is not a match. Cancer is too sensitive and routine driven to even be considered interesting to a Leo. Again that is my opinion and I'm sure you'll find similar opinions if you Google it. And yes , I speak for sun signs only.

People often make the common mistake of combining both Cancer and Leo because of the Sun-Moon relationship. That's wrong on so many levels. Those who mention the connection between them are pointing out the esoteric rulerships of the two bodies, not the physical ones. Leo is the only sign which has the Sun for exoteric, esoteric and hierarchical spiritual expressions, whereas the Moon is at her highest frequency (according to the sources) in Aquarius. I think it all depends on your chart. Honestly. Leo suns or other signs with Leo Moons and Scorpios seem to be most attracted to me and what I go with. I dated a Cancer with a Leo Moon and several Leo placements. He was very strong and dominant in life but still had issues with past ghosts he couldn't let go. Our only down fall and I had to let him go.

My cousin is married to a Crab and have a Crab baby girl together.
She said they have had their ups and downs but decided to pull it together.

Leo's seem to match well with Libra I have noticed.
My trainer is a Leo and dating a Leo.
He said he is saving to buy a ring for her.

I also know a Leo woman married to an Aries man.
Aries is a strong match for Leo if Aries can remain faithful, which is very hard for them to do I have noticed.

I'm an Aquarius not a Leo, but I'll say that Leos and I have this instant chemistry. I have many Leo friends and loved ones in general and even dated Leo guys. Regardless of gender or age I just have this natural connection to Leos more than I do with others. So based on my experience I'll say maybe Aquarius could be a really good if not great match for you Lions.

In fact three of my Leo friends (2 females 1 male) are with Aquarians. I'll admit for one friend her Aqua man is a bit of an ass to her. The other lioness and her Aqua man balance each other out and are very happy. Now my male Leo friend with an Aqua female said to me he likes that he doesn't feel smothered and that she's really laid back.

As I learn more and more about placements I will agree with TheLioness79 that it does depend on your chart. It seems the Leo/Aqua combo can be really great or really painful. Either way it's worth trying out at least once. 😉

But nobody, no other sign can trigger Leo as Aquarians do. Sure, maybe on dxp, you've never heard of that but I'm telling you, at the end of the day, Aquarius is Leos best match. The connection is there, the chemistry too and sexually, it's fireworks. And for those that don't agree have probably never been with the water bearer because passionate is a mild way of describing this type of astroligical relationship.

All and all, Leo girls and Leo guys are very different and look for different things in relationships.

Also, the entire chart has to count somehow. So there will never be a definite answer. It's all relative.

Agreed-- and imo, you have to look at the Moon.

I do better when someone has some water in their chart (sun or moon)-- otherwise there's going to

I am a Leo male. Gotta say that the Scorpio woman I am dating is amazing. Once I read up on Scorpio and realized that I needed to be a little more flexible it put our relationship into overdrive! I have dated all types of different signs. Gotta say that Scorpio is the best. We totally compliment each other on many different levels. Once we bonded emotionally it was worth all the reading and research and talking with other Scorpios.

That's YOUR personal experience and as a Cancer how can you tell an Aquarian especially one who has dated Leos and has many loved ones and friends of both genders how I will feel towards them and what I would and wouldn't value? Part of the reason why I adore Leos is their loyalty and for you to generalize Aquarians as not loyal or valuing loyalty shows how little you actually know about the Aquarius sign.

But hey I'm still learning too and as I'm learning there is so much more to astrology than just the sun sign alone and other placements do come into play. Some will argue that Cancer is too clingy for the freedom loving Lion but a Lion with lots of water placements in their chart may disagree.

Also before you throw the word delusional out there ... some may argue that for a person that is not a Leo to argue with not one but THREE LEOS who mind you are very well spoken if you've read some of their other posts about who THEY connect best with is possibly bordering on that word themselves. 😉

somehow you Cancers managed to turn this thread into something about your sign and how you Cancers think you are so good for Leos (lemme laugh out loud), while the question is what is Leos best match.

I have read so many forums and books and nowhere does it state that Cancer and Leos should be a perfect match. Nowhere.

Leos best matches are Aquarius (deal with it!), Gemini, Scorpio, Capricorn, and even Virgo before Cancer. Even the majority of the Leos on dxpnet seem to agree with that. Cancers need to deal with this reality instead of telling me (a Leo) how I should feel and think. I'm not saying that you particularly do that but Cancers on this board are so sure about what we Leos want and need, and there is nothing more disgusting to a Leo than someone telling them how to feel or who to like! Do you understand now why Cancers could never match with a Leo?

Leo is a "Fixed Fire" sign. which means that someone having those qualities as a dominant aspect cannot deal with "Cardinal Water", ruled by the Moon (sucking all the good energy from the Sun btw) such as Cancer. Period.

In my admittedly limited dating experience, I have found myself the most drawn to geminis and libras (particularly the libra/Scorpio cusp). I currently have an Aquarian/Piscean hellbent on making me his, which sadly isn't working out too well for him considering he's awesome except physically I'm just not attracted, and as a Leo woman I want to stand tall with a man I can be proud of standing beside me. I.e. a freaking heartthrob! Lol. My moon is in Pisces though so he and I are getting along relatively well but I am certain he has far too much Aries in his chart which rubs me the wrong way.

I don't like Aries men typically because the steamroll right over you IMO. Oddly enough I've never been attracted to an Aries.

I currently have the major hots for a gemini, which isn't working out too well for me because sadly I have a low self esteem for a Leo gal and his absences and standoffishness wreaks havoc on my heart. That being said I think they're my favorites because they're so curious and playful and interesting.

I've never really been attracted to cancer men....yes maybe they can give a Leo what she wants if you look at it on paper, but it's all in the delivery. excuse me? that's a pretty fucked up thing to say if you believe that all of them are like that. It's pretty much blows it out the water when you say stuff like, crabs aren't always like this, ect, then go around pointing fingers about another sign under that birthday to say they all are like this. if they didn't want to have children they shouldn't. and there's plenty of women out there under every sign that aren't fit to be mothers or don't want to be a mother.
I know some cancer suns in celebrity world that never had any children or don't want any. good for them. Ie. Angela Merkel doesn't have children. she's too busy with the world /politics.

Deeper astrology reveals that Aqua women can be obsessed with Leo men. The thing is that they are not really our opposites. Leo has no opposite. They have similar tendencies in some ways, and so they see Leo men as compliments to their masculine energy. This is exactly what will turn an evolved Leo off.
