When I first met my bf, I thought he was the biggest player ever. Because of this, I kept refusing to date him b/c I thought he was just trying to get another notch on his belt. After really getting to know him, though, it was a bit shocking how different what he appears to be and what he is are.

@tiki33 I've gotten to the same point too. I've started being more understanding about his "quirks" and noticing my part in exacerbating situations, and things are going much better. Neither of us likes to feel vulnerable to the other, but I'm more okay with it than he is. He needs lots of reassurance and attention (just like me), so I'm trying to get into the frame of mind of just giving unconditionally. emotional whoring is worse can follow you for years, you can get wrapped up with a guy forever if he gets his claws into your heart...IMHO.

I know for a fact my brother was no manwhore, he was very attractive and had the typical leo traits, he fell in love easily and fell out of love but for the most part he was pretty much with one chick at a time so I think what alot of people see is the leo male's ego at play, its more about appearances than REALITY, in reality he's probably not indulging into any lascivious activities until he gets around people and gets an audience to feed his ego off of. My brother is married and has 5 kids, been married over 10 years, he's 36, not saying he was faithful, no one knows but him, but he stands by his family and is a wonderful provider.

Ego versus Reality...determining which one a person see's at any given time will give you the answer.

You just gave me a glimpse into the leos mind, so I take it that its really more of an ego thing with leo's than it is physical, sounds like your saying that the leo species is basically a faithful and loyal creature but may also take joy/entertainment by attracting a woman or women to play his mental games with to get some type of ego stimulation, like a cat and mouse type thing.

Leos will play the game but for the most part have no intentions of ditching that special someone despite the emotional liason between him and the other woman. I see what you mean, I totally see a few scenerio's in contrast with what i have dealt with inregards to my leo, I have made the mistake of accusing which I no longer do, I have given emotional support when needed. Wow thanks for that example, it definitely puts some things into perspective & answers ?'s that I had about his behavior towards me.

So my whole point is...Ignore the mind games. DON'T get yourself wrapped up in that. IF U ignore him, he will have to pick up that weakness from other sources. DON"T be the other source. Let other women be the other source. DO your part and DON'T worry about nothing else. Don't stress all that drama. GIVE it to someone else.
