As far as Miss Cancer, no I'm not out for a chase with her at all. I'm grown enough to admit that I effed up with her and should've left her alone since I was on the heels of all that BS I put myself through with the Cap. The time we were together should've been the time that I was getting out anger and frustration and all the rest of that ish before I tried to pursue anything with anyone else.

Well, what was missing from that story is that prior to her coming into my life, I had spent the last three years trying to win over a Capricorn woman who I swore up and down that I was going to marry. Most Leos know we don't give up on anything we truly want without a fight, so yeah, almost three years of getting rejected by this Cap, but I was determined to win her over. Fast forward to the week before Valentine's Day 2017. I had this Cap sent five gifts over five days -- one per day. This was my last ditch effort to get her. For the final time, she rejected me, and solidified for me that Capricorns and Leos generally speaking ARE NOT a good match.
So literally a few weeks later, sweet little Miss Cancer comes into my life, while I'm still reeling from that Capricorn heartbreak. I'm not going to dig up the entire post for those that didn't get a chance to check it out, but the Reader's Digest version is Miss Cancer spent a weekend at my place some months back, and while I was at work, she cleaned my house. A few days after that, I checked out on her. No phone calls, no texts, nothing. All while I was trying to figure out how I was going to respond to her cleaning my house. But another reason for this was I could really feel myself getting comfortable with her, and it wasn't all that long ago that I felt that same level of comfort with the Cap, and was made to feel and look like a fool. Tried to get the Cancer back, and she basically wasn't having it. Cancers HATE abandonment, and that was proven.
Moral of all this? Regardless of sign compatibility, always take time for yourself to mend before you try love again with someone else. You're still hurting, and when someone who just might be the right one for you comes along a little too soon, you'll end up hurting them too.
