i could smell the insecurity on him from the beginning. he would often be intimidated by the other men who pursued me or the comments we got in public about my physical beauty. but i worshipped him and did everything in my power to make him feel secure. i pampered him, showered him with affection, kisses to tears. ultimately though, he controlled the relationship with his ambivalence that reared its ugly head over and over again often provoked by his insecurity.
