Yeah, it's funny but that animal logic really goes deep. By the way, I'm a Rat and Oxen have always been helpful to the Rat. As the story goes Buddha called all the animals to give them rank or order and the Oxen was supposed to be #1. He called upon the Rat to spread the good news about the country side. The Rat being small figured that if he asked the Horse for help he might get the job done faster. The Horse flat out turned the Rat down. That's why the Horse is the Rat's opposite. Then the Rat went to the Ox and the Ox being strong and dutyful totally indulged the Rat's wishes. After the Rat's job was done , all the animals gathered to get their order. The Buddha proceeded to make the Oxen the #1 animal in the zodiac at which point the Rat jumped out and asked the Oxen if He could be #1. Again the Oxen being strong and secure said "sure". Ever since the Rat has been the #1 animal in the zodiac but only thanx to the ever obliging Ox.
