A confusing line by my Libra lover

I am a Libra as is my lover of over 2 years, our birthdays are 2 days apart. We have some nice serious debates and fun ones too, we love to challenge each others thoughts and morals on various subjects. Thing is he's a bit wishy-washy...contradicts himself at times. Recently, during a "relationship" conversation, he told me that I was " more of a friend than a lover". What the hell does that mean? He said its better than being just a lover! When he says he loves me one week and then this kind of comment the next? I don't pressure him and I support him in all his "busy" life..and it is busy. But I don't know where I stand with this man. We only really get to spend any amount of time together about once a week and I find his lack of affection, even when we're alone uncaring and aloof.But when the sex does happen, it is mind blowing and he says its because we're meant for it. I told him I feel like a booty call or a fwb, which he knows I dont like and it actually pissed him off when I said it, he stills refers to it from time to time. Sounding like a player and his earlier referred to comment has me at odds with my feelings...any feedback?

People who refer to someone they're just having sex with as a "lover" creep me out. It just sounds too pervy and weird. What is this, the 70s?

If the guy even cared enough to be hurt that you thought you were a booty call, i'd take that as a good sign. Us libras are quite confusing with the lack of affection though! Males might be different on this, but as a female libra it definitely doesn't mean i don't care. Also, being friends before anything else is really important for most libras. It sounds easier said than done- almost impossible for leebs lol- but try to stop analyzing at least these things because we feel when others are uncertain and that can make us even more uncertain, as i'm sure you know.

I know for me personally, if someone told me something that I know for a fact is not true, it's instantly dismissed in my mind. But touching on any of my insecurities can cause a reaction from me that should be handled with care.
It's a way that people reveal themselves, and it doesn't have to be a bad thing. The revelations can be put to productive use. For me personally though, most of the time I have my head comfortably in the warm sand.

The tone of the msg is subjective. You found it rude and I didn't. I'm not defending Rocky because I like her. I feel that she was being firm, not rude. Her writing style is consistent. That's how she is. She's not going out of her way to be rude.

If you think Rocky was rude, you need to check out P-angel on this website. That's when you see what rude is.

I know rocky for a while here on dxp. And I followed P-angel's posts. P-angel is an older version of what Rocky can become if she continues down this path. I still think rocky has good points, after i filter out all the unnecessary rude bs 🙂

The part that was the issue wasn't that she was offended or butthurt, but the ridiculous shit she had to say. She even admitted to being a drama queen and proceeded to show just how ridiculous of one she is. Bragging about being a drama queen, supposedly being so much better and smarter than some randoms on the internet tells me she has self esteem issues up the ass. Yeah well it was with someone that I was sleeping with, and I was so young: I just internalized it and no good resulted because I still feel that way sometimes lol.
