So her and I start talking and come to find out around thanksgiving EXACTLY when he became "confused" they had started talking again and he has basically been stringing us both along and wouldn't commit to her either because obviously he was trying to choose between us! Oh yeah.. and then the other day when he kept trying to see me she was trying to see him and he told her he couldn't but then when it didn't pan out with me he called her over! What an asshole! All he had to do was be honest instead of making me wonder what I did wrong all this time!
I guess she had heard a lot about me and he would always sit there and talk about how cool I am and what a great "friend" I am... Her and I had a great conversation and we both were so glad that it all "makes sense" now...
Dang... so I'm not gonna blame everything on him being a Libra he's obviously an asshole on top of it but it's pretty funny how it happens to be his ex (with all the talk about how library keep their Exs around).... lol

I'm mad because he pursued begged me to commit to him and then when I was ready said he was "confused" but still kept trying to string me along and keep me around this whole time. I knew there had to be a reason but he couldn't tell me exactly what the problem was (because he knows I would have not even wasted my time on him if I knew that was the reason) so instead I've been going crazy wondering if it was something I had done. It would have been over and I would have been gone already if I had known.. oh well I'm glad I know now that's all that I wanted.. I told his ex she could have him.. I've told him from day one I would not be an "option" to any guy.. I wouldn't want him now even if he "decided" on me..

Don't get me wrong as I see you through myself and know that your ex and you had no livable future (for your own sanity you left) but you will be tried and tested by many and you best start opening your eyes real wide. We hadn't made it "official" but we were already planning to be together, spending every day together, etc. he pursued me and begged me to commit and then he says he's confused out of nowhere but didn't want me out of his life. I couldn't understand what happened to make him confused all of a sudden.. I have been in that position and he should have just been honest and said that his ex was trying to get back with him and that was the cause.. Of course not though because he knew I would leave.. He chose to string me along and give me just enough hope that I would stay until he decided. I'm just mad that he wasn't honest.

Hell no! I was caught up on all the "good moments" we spent together and the great guy I would possibly be losing if I gave up without knowing the reason he was acting this way. I just didn't want to cut off all ties and have regrets.. Now that I know he's not the person who he portrayed himself to be and THAT was the person I liked I'm fine with moving on! It's not like he's the only guy I can have.. I just didn't want to lose out on the person I thought he was.. I really don't care now..
He's been texting and calling me since last night.. He sent me this long email today saying he still wants to be with me and that she's lying and she is only a friend and that he told her that he does not want to be with her like that and that had nothing to do with the reason he started acting that way.. He says that he just wanted to go slower and get to know each other better before we got into a full relationship and that he still wants to be with me.. WHATEVER! I told him if he's trying to decide I'll make it easy and to choose her because I'm done with his ass for real! I'm fine now really.. All I wanted to know was that cutting him out of my life completely was not a mistake that I would regret and now I know I wont.. It's HIS loss..

To be honest.. in the beginning I was considering either trying to work things out with my husband or committing to him and that was the hesitation in me committing. However, I was HONEST about it with him and he chose to stay and wait. I can understand if his ex came around and he's confused and we were not committed 100% yet so he should have just been honest and then let me decide based off of that what I wanted to do! Not sit there and make up all kinds of other lame ass excuses!

The reason they can't be honest and want to string you along as my ex did with me is because they loveeeee attention. He was getting attention from 2 women, so why would an attention-seeker like him tell the truth? He knows he will lose the smarter girl.

I kept teasing him about her and even calling her his gf in a joke. He kept denying and saying he doesn't see her in a romantic way or doesn't want to be with her. He even went as far as bashing her to me. Seeing as he was honest enough to tell me he didn't want a relationship at the moment, I just don't understand why he wouldn't be honest enough to tell me that he's dating the co-worker?
He used to piss me off all the time so I ended up cutting all ties with him. One year later, I found out that he was dating her all that time he was telling me that he didn't want to be in a relationship. So why did he flirt with me or keep in touch with me? I talked to his girlfriend to find out when he started seeing her, and to my surprise, he started seeing her while we were exclusively dating. I txted him to confront him, and he just sent an "I'm sorry for causing you grief" txt and turned off his phone. They will lie, cheat and backstab, but when it's time to face the consequences, they will run for cover like the cowards that they are because they can't handle the thrashing coming their way. You are more angry about the time? I dont know I don't see him as a total jerk because he didn't commit and everyone has that option to not do it. Libras we can be charming and evade. At least he didn't do the evasive thing by committing and then getting on the high horse and blaming you for forcing a commitment. I've seen that from my brethern. Glad you found out early on though. You know even though I am mad I honestly don't think he's a complete jerk either. If he was really a jerk he could have easily just told me what I want to hear and I would've never suspected anything and things would have been fine (until I found out of course).
The thing is that I told him from day 1 that I know I cannot expect him to commit 100% to me until I can do the same and he said he had no intentions of hooking up with anyone else but that he couldn't promise until we were committed and I respected his honesty on that! The only thing I told him is that if it did ever happen I expected him to tell me so that I can then decide if it was something I wanted to deal with or not.. But I made it pretty clear that most likely I would not waste my time if anyone else came into the picture and he told me that he would not be with me if he found out about anyone else either!
Basically, he knew that if he shared that little bit of info with me I would already be gone. Aqua peeps are fantastic people. They fuck up with your mind. People think they are detached, cold, but they live in their own world, and when they love you, they love you hard.
