I ain't a Libra (I have Libra moon though), but I solve whatever melancholy I may have by either letting it run it's course, letting it out, sleeping (favorite), or keeping occupied.
another helpful hint...before going off to sleep for the evening - write in a journal all the things that your are grateful for - what you experienced during your day. Focus on the GOOD and you will bring more good into your world. 😉

I am there now and I throw myself into work. Start a new project or find a hobby. I find listening to music can make my mood worse. Movies can also be a downer since every movie has an optomistic ending and life just ain't that way.
I isolate myself too, i cant stand to be sociable in any form, all this month has been the same..at home or only with my sister. I'm not depressed though, just thinking about stuff...
I love being depressed hahaha.. When I am depressed, I go online and check out stuff that will lift my mood. I usually get entranced for hours, and then realise life is the same, happy or sad, and I need to get things done! Thinking about a loved one also lifts depression. I find that I cannot be too happy, or else the backlash of depression is worse. Tranquility and aloneness gives me sufficient space to balance my energy to make it ALL mine! When i am around people too much without my own time, I get depressed because I soak up atmosphere that doesn't belong to me.
I have sun conj saturn, and saturn being ruler of my chart and exalted at the midheaven, so I am not an average hippy happy type - I feel happy being gloomy.
I'd hop on my mountain bike, ride as many miles as I can. When I feel I can't go farther I'll find somewhere to do pull ups, pushups and situps. Three sets to failure in rapid succession. By the time you get home you will be so tired you won't be feeling bad about yourself.
Eat bananas also, they have a certain rare protein that aids depression. Google it.
I'll either do something I'm good at. Exercise until I'm too tired to think. Or cry. Or I can go the unhealthy way and drink until I can't think straight. Lol. Any of them work for me! And after a day or two of said anti depressants, I'm good to go. =D
when i am depressed, i isolate myself and watch movies then hope for another love interest to show up to take my mind off the libran man i want while he is doing his pulling back crap. i was sad about this for 3 days but now i am enjoying this moment of peace. then i think how exhaustive it would be to find another love interest but fun...so i go back and forth on this when i am not feeling sorry for myself laying in bed watching movies. i am a scorpio but with tons of libra in my chart and i can relate to their moods. at one point i was juggling 5 guys (ego boost) while being in love with just one an aries at the time. i wasn't getting what i wanted from him).
