Is it possible to bring back "mystery"?

So, my ventures on bringing back the "spark" with the Libra male I like brought me to this.
After being unaware of the Libra qualities, and being my regular Leo self by revealing too much and being a bit too straightforward, I realised it's driven him slightly away. It's not like I told him my life's story, but I was a bit blunt by showing him I am interested and not playing his slow flirting game.
I took a step back yesterday and appeared busy whenever he was around. Suddenly, he stared at me as he used to and made an effort to come and talk. Although the chat was "casual", it was quite clear he just wanted to start a conversation (had nothing important to say). That happened in just one day of "appearing busy".

And so, I wonder, how can one bring back the mystery? Any tips or examples would be good since I'm quite an "out there" Leo girl (which attracted him over in the first place, but also eventually pushed him slightly away).

So I've been doing just that. Worked great the first couple of days, he suddenly came over and initiated chats.. today however, he stayed quite far away from me and the one time he said hi he just seemed surprised I didn't stop for a chat (I was, however, very well dressed. More than usual. So he could have just been quite surprised to see me that way..) but I was busy.. and later, he kept away. Then again, we were both with friends throughout most of the night.

The other day though, when he did initiate a chat and seemed caring, he still was just mainly friendly. I can't seem to be able to bring back the compliments/flirting from his side...
How can one do that?

Well, did it again today. I was later at the bar with a male friend and he looked over, seemingly jealous.. but afterwards, and for the first time, he flat out ignored me as he left. He was seemingly jealous when I was chatting to guys in the past, even when he was pulling away from me, but he would always make some sort of effort after. Tonight he just ignored me.
So I went overboard and sent him an email (a very casual, friendly one) mentioning I'd love to have drinks with him sometimes, in a very non-threatening way. I just hope he'd be up for it. It's my last chance I suppose. I'm not much of a game player, I lose far too quickly.

Well, I may have shown him my honest interest way too quickly then lol cos when he was flirting, I became pretty blunt. Then he kind of, stopped flirting, but stayed friendly. Then he started pulling away, but came back to being friendly when I mirrored him.. but now I'm pulling away again, and instead, he goes even further.
I can't really deal with it now cos I don't want us to reach a point where we flat out ignore each other, so I sent him a really rather friendly email. Which I'm sure he'll read but won't mention. And so it'll make it easier on me to act a little less interested when our paths do cross over the next few weeks.. since he's got the email and knows I actually want to have a friendly chat with him and so, it's his move now and I can be a bit more vague.

I'm good at "straight out" lol that's who I am. I worry it's not who he is, though. Since from the moment I showed him I am really interested, he started pulling back (to be honest though, other factors may have been included, like the fact we work in the same place and he's only there temporarily).
He first started staring at me around August. No words, just stares. Around October he came and sat by me so I introduced myself and then we started flirting. The flirting was great and he put a lot of effort into it, making sure we cross paths and such. Then I became a little Leo-blunt, not emotionally but rather, sexually. Answering to his calls rather than keeping him on his toes (nothing happened though and I haven't given him 100% what he wanted but I'd say about.. 85-90% lol) and then he took a step back (I'd say about a month ago), could be cos of that or perhaps other reasons (it's possible he was dating someone from the beginning and maybe it's starting to get serious. Or that a coworker mentioned something). I kept being me though and so nothing changed. The moment I took a step back he started being really friendly with me (friendly, not flirty) and in the last couple of days he's not even doing that (ignored me when left) though seemed quite jealous, as before, when he saw me with another man.

My email to him is very friendly but a little suggestive and was quite bluntly asking that we sit and chat alone. He always reads the emails (haven't sent him one in over a month) and has always commented in person (I mentioned in the email I'm sending it rather than telling him cos "we've both been so busy" and to be frank, I made sure I looked it since I mirrored his "pull back" lol).

I probably won't see him again once we stop working together unless we decided to properly keep in touch, so I'm trying to make sure I can have an honest chat to him beforehand during which I'd just say I'd be happy to at least remain friends and maybe try to find a reason for his sudden pull back.

I might be the worst person with sublties. I am an Aries. One of my favorite dxpers once said that Aries are as subtle as a sledgehammer.

Honestly, I just go about my day not worrying about the little things. I hate details. So, I won't notice if I guy likes me until comes on strong or a friend tells me 😄

IME though anything that you chase will run. So either let it go and let the chips fall where they may or ask him upfront. That's what I'd do anyway.

Good luck girly! I hope it works out for you 🙂

Well, I hanged out with him and his mates tonight. All night. He seemed to be flirting with everyone around, including me. Giving some eye contact to one girl far away while giggling, but then paying me full attention when I talked and waiting for me to kiss him goodbye as we all parted.
So suppose he just likes many girls giving him attention.. not sure how I could stand out. But I'm definitely the only one who hanged out with his mates. Suppose that's a start.

Well, when someone flirts with you one day, treats you like a friend the next, gets jealous over seeing you with another guy after that and then purposefully turns his back to ignore you next time and all over again.. then yeah, you want to try and understand their motives and you go into a Libra forum to get help with that.
If my asking for advice bugs you so much you really don't have to enter this topic, do you. 🙂

Leos...

Again, stop reading into this garbage. Dude isn't all that into you if he's so hot and cold.

Just to spell it out since you just refuse to get it- hot/cold behavior = not that into you.

But you nutters get off on the drama, so have fun. Nobody is really going to give you the answers you seek since you aren't here for advice, just enabling a situation that you're forcing to work. Understand that just because YOU want it to happen doesn't mean it's supposed to be.

No, he showed it though, quite clearly (he came into the bar with a couple of friends, very happy.. one look ahead, he saw me and my male friend and his face quite literally dropped. Then he kept glancing over..).

But thank you, busyeyes88, good advice. I sat at the bar nonchalantly tonight and he came over to me a couple of times, slowly showing signs of flirtation he hasn't shown in a while now (even using my name. He used to call me by name every sentence he said, then he stopped. Tonight he called me by name again).

I have been slowly pulling back for a while now while remaining nice and smiley. And tonight has been rather fruitful 🙂
