Libra Girl Short With Me

So this Libra girl at work stares at me from afar but gets quiet around me. She’ll have conversations but she finishes them off quickly, and I have to initiate them every time.

I thought that means she doesn’t like me in a romantic way, but I always catch her looking at me from across the room. She’ll talk to everyone else but she’ll be to the point with me. I have limited interactions with her so I know I haven’t pissed her off.

Sorry, forgot to mention she’s super social and not shy.

Hey, so she cuts off contacts and keeps turning me down whenever I talk to her. However, when she walks into the room she always looks at me. If I ask another girl a question, she’ll turn to face me and watch me.

I just started the job and I’ve been elsewhere for training. I’ve barely had encounters with her. I’ve noticed she’ll include me in conversations at times but she’ll make it quick and to the point. If I talk to another girl, her body language quickly changes to face me. I can see her glancing throughout the convos.

My coworkers were talking about horoscope and she said she was born during the libra season lol.

There’s no gossip about me since my team and I just started the job and moved to the new building. We’re 25ish

I find it hard to believe a Libra would give off these signals so obviously.

i was thinking about this and i think you've exactly described the way i act around my gym crush.

So...errr...how do I approach her when she keeps the conversation curt? If I talk to someone else, she’ll glare at me but if I talk to her it goes nowhere.

What sign are you? This is so weird. I would never brush off one that I'm interested in. I will be talking up a storm.

i'm like that for several reasons

a) like mudra, i'm shy.

b) i am already with someone, and out of respect for him i don't want to engage in any sort of chat with my crush

c) i don't want to give the guy the wrong idea. it could be awkward for both of us if he thought i was interested.

So it turns out she has a boyfriend. It still feels awkward trying to talk to her in a group where she’s very receptive towards everyone but kinda dismissive towards me. I obviously won’t ask her out but the behavior of being to the point, while being warm towards others is kinda...mean?

I noticed that if I talk to another girl and come back, then the Libra will say something engaging to me. If I don’t then it’s the same situation. I’m a pisces btw. But she also talks to random guys throughout the buildings and talks for a while.

don't be too dismissive of her. if she is like me, she's probably having a bit of inner turmoil trying to control her thoughts. she probably does have a bit of a thing for you (see: my gym crush) but trying to stay on the right side of remaining ethical. if she is like me, flirting comes easily and she is trying to find the correct balance while reigning it in.

once it passes she'll treat you with the same warmth as everyone else.

She has no idea I like her. I just make small talk with her just like I do with everyone else - when she shows up in my work area, every once in a while. I’ve never been flirty or have shown an ounce of interest.
