I AM VERY CONFUSED ABOUT MYSELF AND I'M HOPING IT'S A LIBRA THING. I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE ONCE IN MY WHOLE LIFE.THIS LASTED SEVEN YEARS.THREE IN WICH WE WERE ACTUALLY TOGETHER.HE WAS A GEMINI.WE ARE SUPOSED TO BE VERY MUCH COMPATIBLE WITH GEMINI'S. BUT, I NOTICED THAT I WAS VERY UNHAPPY AND DISILLUSIONING MYSELF THAT I WAS ACTUALLY HAPPY. SO IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WE CREATE A PERFECT PICTURE OF WHAT WE WANT SOMEONE TO BE?DO WE THEN LIVE WITH THIS FANTACY FOREVER.NOW THAT I'M NO LONGER IN THE RELATIONSHIP GOING ON A YEAR I LOOK FOR THE SAME TRAITS IN ANYONE ELSE.I'M VERY PICKY AND I NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS THAN I DESERVE AND I CANT SEEM TO FIND ANYBODY TO FIT MY CRITERIA. I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO BE ALONE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN SINGLE FOR THIS LONG AND I THINK I'M GING TO HAVE TO BREAK DOWN AND SETTLE FOR WHAT I CAN GET. NOT TO MENTION I'M NOT UGLY;NO LIBRA WOMAN IS AND I'M WELL EDUCATED AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF SELF-EMPLOYED. WHY CAN'T I FIND SOMEONE AT MY LEVEL. I NEED AN INTELLECTUAL PERSON.HELP.

from one single libran to another--i feel like i could of written what you wrote-i can totally relate to your message. Yes we librans are picky (cuz we have good taste damnit!!) and that makes more of slim pickings out there in the single world, however, you must keep searching-join a dating service--it may not be all that bad. Avoid the bar scene. It never works.

I think you should just relax. It is a trait of a libra to seek perfection. We have a tendancy to look at life through rose-tinted spectacles and it is hard to get out of this. Do not search for perfection as you will rarely find it. Do not expect too much and you will not be disappointed. Treat every person as an individual. They may not meet your 'criteria' but they may have other qualities that appeal to you. The point is not to look too hard...love finds you when you least expect it. Concentrate on living your life now.
